Come si installano i driver ASPI?? Leggo:

For Windows XP, select Start - Run from the menu, and then the Browse button. Locate the INSTALL.BAT file in the directory the files extracted to and select the OPEN button. In the command box, add a space and either XP32 for Pentium I/II/III/IV processors or XP64 for Itanium processors. The command should look like: c:\adaptec\aspi\install.bat XP32 or c:\adaptec\aspi\install.bat XP64. Then select the OK button to run the XP installer.

Allora io che ho un Athlon 1Ghz devo mettere XP64 o XP63???

Prima di legere questo, avevo lanciato il file ASPIINST.EXE (che doveva andare bene solo per Win98, win2000, winme) e mi ha fatto linstallazione.
Adesso il Aspichk mi dice:

ASPI32.SYS v4.7
WOWPOST.EXE v4.6 (1021)
WINASPI.DLL v4.6 (1021)
WNASPI.DLL v4.7
Sono a posto lostesso? Devo rifare l'installazione mettendo XP32 (o XP64)?

Hem...

Ho fatto c:\adaptec\aspi\install.bat XP32
da promp di dos (con WinXP), ma Feurio mi dice che non vede l'ASPI manager. Ho sbagliato qualcosa?

E' normale che l'Aspichk mi dica:

ASPI32.SYS v4.7
WOWPOST.EXE v4.6 (1021)
WINASPI.DLL v4.6 (1021)
WNASPI.DLL v4.7

devi usare l'installazione a 32 bit coma hai fatto (l'altra e` per l'itanium)
Feurio lo puoi tranquillamente far funzionare senza aspi: nelle proprieta` digli di non usare l'aspi ma il device control per accedere alle periferiche. A me funziona perfettamente in entrembi i modi, ma con win2k il modo aspi mi dava problkemi
