Problemi con Utility disco: non si avvia...

Ciao ragazzi,
come sapete sono un novizio nel mondo Apple. Stasera dovevo inizializzare una chiavetta usb da utility disco, che si è rifiutato di partire anche dopo svariati riavvii.

Come si potrebbe ovviare a tutto ciò? Devo formattare? Mica è possibile fare un ripristino del "guaio" in questione col dvd di Leopard?
