il sp1 per XP c'è già ma è stato dato solo ai betatester, sull'FTP della M@ trovi solo i singoli aggiornamenti divisi per numeri q2435 ecc ma sono protetti da password (ok non è un problema) ma star li a eseguirli uno per uno non ho voglia

Con xp in inglese ci sono ben 22 mega di aggiornamenti tramite windows update mi accontento

Sfatiamo subito una leggenda: nessun sistema operativo, anche di quelli seri, è nato perfetto; con il tempo vengono fornite le patch che correggono difetti (piccoli generalmente, quelli grossi vengono scoperti prima)
Queste patch (che magari in altri sistemi si chiamano PTF=Program Temporary Fix), servono appunto a "tappare i buchi" scoperti dopo l'utilizzo in condizioni reali
Altre volte queste patch servono ad implementare nuove funzioni o a modificare quelle esistenti per adeguarsi a nuove realtà
Generalmente tutte queste patch vengono inserite definitivamente nella versione (o release) successiva, ove, magari ci sono ancora nuove funzioni, che, a loro volta, possono avere problemi (e quindi nuove patch).... e così via

Tutto questo porta verso la progressiva completezza, maturità e stabilità del sistema operativo, oltre ad implementarne progressivamente le funzionalità
Tutte le volte che si crea un nuovo sistema operativo o magari se ne modifica (profondamente) la struttura, si ricomincia da capo contutti i problemi che ne conseguono

Da questo punto di vista W2000, che per ora è quello che è rimasto fondamentalmente sé stesso, ritengo, sia il più affidabile e le varie patch, se non sono un pregio, non sono nemmeno un difetto, ma il segnale che qualcuno ci stà ancora lavorando dietro e che quindi può garantire una certa continuità
Certo, non va bene per giocare, del resto è indirizzato ad un utilizzo più professionale....

Peccato che MS, quando ha qualcosa di stabile e abbastanza maturo abbia la pessima abitudine di sostituirlo con qualcosa di nuovo, che ha più buchi di una forma di emmenthal

Ho notato che sei moderatore del forum di T4-MAXX; penso quindi che tu sappia dell'articolo presente su sito di T4-MAXX a riguardo di Windows 2000 su cd con SP1.
Mi spiego meglio; c'è un'articolo che spiega come creare la propria copia di backup del Windows 2000 con il SP1 incluso.
Si può fare la stessa cosa con il SP2??
Poi il mio CD non è neanche avviabile.
