Salve,
ho debian testing e mi chiedevo se col passaggio di etch a stable, la mia testing rimanesse testing o passasse anche lei a stable. Il mio sources.list punta ovunque a testing. Nel caso la mia debian rimanesse testing anche con l'uscita di etch, converrebbe comunque installare la futura testing da zero, oppure così va bene? Insomma è la procedura giusta lasciare i link a testing nel sources.list e continuare tranquillamente con questa installazione? Spero di non essere stato eccessivamente sconclusionato. Bye |

Lo pensavo anche io, dato che testing non è altro che un link ad etch (attualmente) e che poi punterà alla futura testing. Quindi è la procedura giusta questa per rimanere a testing?

Cavolo, sono nella cacca profonda!
Ho aggiornato adesso la mia debian-unstable e si è scatenato un casino con beryl-manager: ora, quando si avvia gnome, si carica il citato beryl-manager, il quale porta a crashare X, per cui mi ritrovo in gdm. Qualcuno sa per caso dove posso intervenire per togliere beryl-manager stesso dall'avvio in sessione gnome? Cioè, fino a che non risolvo i problemi con beryl, intendo avviare solo metacity. Aiutatemi.... |

ciao
ho un problema con HAL e il montaggio di hd usb. ne ho uno e con la partizione ext3 tutto a posto, lo monta e mi permette anche di scriverci da utente normale. invece con quella ntfs mi dà un errore di udi o pid o non ricordo 1000 e non mi permette di montare la partizione, invece se la monto da root con mount tutto a posto solo che non mi permette di vederla da utente e non mi lascia cambiare i permessi voi che ne dite |

Mi iscrivo al thread .
E' da poco che uso debian (etch) ma nel complesso è la distro che mi piace di più tra quelle che ho provato finora . Ho su anche Zenwalk che uso come palestra per imparare ad usare linux, dato che sono ancora un niubbio o quasi.... In debian ho notato un fastidioso bug (o almeno credo che lo sia ), nella visualizzazioni dei video nel browser. Quando, per esempio, apro un video di youtube, se interrompo la visualizzazione prima che sia terminata, crasha il browser (epiphany o iceweales) e sono costretto a forzare la chiusura dello stesso. Forse è dovuto ad un problema nel plugin flash del browser, però francamente non saprei..... C'è nessuno che ha riscontrato lo stesso problema e sa come risolverlo ? Ciao
