Ero timoroso del nuovo bios perché diversi tech tubers dicevano che distruggeva le performance ma a me no

Domani lo testo in game con un gioco UE5 magari cambio idea

Buono dai, è giusto così.
Poi comunque male male uno ritoccava quelle due o tre impostazioni nel bios e si tornava alle prestazioni originali, però col microcode nuovo che toglie i picchi di voltaggio.

Riguardando le rece di zen5 sono davvero convinto che AMD abbia dato una possibilità di riscatto ad Intel.

Se il nuovo processo produttivo di arrow sarà davvero buono come dicono (dubito ma vedremo) e Intel non farà altre cavolate in stile raptor lake, le possibilità di essere estremamente competitivi ci sono davvero.

Questo ipotizzando che zen5 x3d sia solo leggermente meglio di zen4 x3d..

Zen5 si vede che è più che altro una architettura di transizione, i 9000 lisci non sono sicuramente una valida alternativa a chi ha già cpu intel di 13/14 gen o 7000. Resta il fatto che se hanno migliorato anche la 3d cache probabilmente i 9000x3d saranno ottimi lato gaming. Per come Intel è messa ultimamente non so, mi viene qualche dubbio che abbiano fatto miracoli com arrow..però boh, vedremo. A livello di efficienza le voci di corridoio non sono male..

Io avevo installato il beta... bisognerebbe capire se hanno solo tolto l'etichetta beta o se è effettivamente cambiato qualcosa.

Comunque per testare la CPU scaricati the last remnant da steam e vedi se riesci a compilare gli shader senza crashare (è un gioco gratuito).

Poi puoi provare cinebench e il test intel postato qualche pagina indietro

Di solito quando metti il beta e poi esce quello ufficiale si aggiorna anche se identico. Prova. Al massimo si blocca prima.

per la Asus PRIME Z790-P D4 sul sito hanno messo una nuova versione non beta e hanno cambiato il codice: 1663 vs 1662 beta

le descrizioni sono identiche:

"The new BIOS includes Intel microcode 0x129 and adjusts the factory default settings for the non-K processors, enhancing the stability of Intel Core 13th and 14th gen desktop processors.
