NOTE: If PowerMax displays a 9 digit error code, please check the drvinf.txt file and us the 8 digit code displayed there (if that is also not recognised, please refer to 4.). 2. If PowerMax doesn't display an error code because the drive is not spinning up: Select whatever is appropriate for your drive under 'Select time in use' and 'drive not spinning' under 'Select Error Message or Symptom' during Step 3 of the online RMA process. 3. If PowerMax doesn't display an error code because the drive is too noisy or displays SMART errors but is otherwise fine: Select whatever is appropriate for your drive under 'Select time in use' and 'drive is noisy' under 'Select Error Message or Symptom' during Step 3 of the online RMA process. 4. If PowerMax displayed a 8-digit error code but the online form doesn't accept it, make sure you've entered it correctly (S can sometimes look like 5 etc.) and make sure you aren't using an error code created with a different drive. If the error code is still not recognised, use the same options as in 3. to create the RMA. 5. If you are using a MacIntosh and haven't got the option to test the drive on a PC you won't be able to run PowerMax and therefore won't get an error code. Please use the steps in 1. to create the RMA. 6. If PowerMax doesn't recognise the drive because your chipset is not supported and you don't have the option to test the drive on a system with a supported chipset, please refer to the steps in 1. to create the RMA. 7. Your drive is a SCSI drive and you were using the verify option of your controller bios to test the drive or the drive is not detected by the controller and you can therefore not run our diagnostic tool SCSIMax. faccio la prima opzione... stasera finalmente chiudo questo RMA... cmq io aggiornerei le FAQ in rilievo... metteteci anche questa esperienza... magari in futuro serve a qualcun'altro |
