ragazzi sto giocando a crysis in dx9 sotto vista tutto su high, perchè in dx10 è troppo pesante ._.
Quanti fps guadagnerei se installassi xp? adesso sono proprio al limite della giocabilità >_>

maeco, sta da mettere questa cosa in prima pagina, poi se si traduce è ancora meglio, perchè viene dalla crytek e riguarda tutti i problemi del multiplayer

Greetings Community!

We just would like to let you know that we are aware of the currently occurring issues regarding playing Crysis Multiplayer online. We are already in touch with Gamespy, EA and the world-wide server provider to resolve the problems. This topic has the highest priority for us now and we hope to come up with a solution as quickly as possible.

What we figured out so far already is that when you uninstall the MP Beta/SP Demo after you have installed the full version of Crysis your CD-Key might get removed accidentally. If this is the case please have a look at the workaround we provide further below. There is no guarantee that these work, but they have been helpful to many out there already.

Some workarounds that might fix the issue:

1. Enable Punkbuster
To be able to join any Punkbuster protected server you would need to enable it manually ingame.
1.) Please start Crysis.
2.) Go to Options -> Game Settings.
3.) Set a mark at "Punkbuster Protection".
4.) Click on "Apply" and confirm the change.

2. Update Punkbuster
To update Punkbuster please download the PBSetup.exe file from here. Execute the file and follow the instructions.

3.) Do not use Crysis Beta Keys
Do not use the Crysis Beta Keys since they have been disabled. You still can login with this Key, but once you try to join a server the "Server Authentication Failed" error message pops up.

4. New InGame Account
1.) To create a new ingame account please start Crysis.
2.) Click on "Multiplayer" -> "Internet Game".
3.) The login window pops up where you click on "New Account" and follow the
instructions.
4.) If you have an automated login please delete the "Crysis" folder in "..\My Documents\My
Games\".
5.) Afterwards you will be able to login manually to Multiplayer and thus create a new
account.

5. Re-Enter the CD-Key
1.) First of all please go to "..\My Documents\My Games\" and delete the whole "Crysis"
folder.
2.) On the Crysis DVD please open the folder "Tools" and double click on
"Crysis_code.exe".
3.) If you have the download version you can find the .exe file here:
C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EADM\cache\{number}\crysis_seX\tools
4.) In the case you do not find the file use the windows search tool. Make sure you search
in hidden folders as well and search for "Crysis_code.exe".
5.) Re-Enter your CD-Key in capital letters and click "OK" afterwards.
6.) If you launch the game now everything should work as intended.

6. Add CD-Key manually to Registry
1.) Windows XP: Start -> Run
2.) Windows Vista: Start -> All Programs -> Accessoires -> run
3. Type in "regedit" (without "") and press Enter
4.) Windows 32-Bit: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\Electronic
Arts\Crysis\ergc
5.) Windows 64-Bit: Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic
Arts\Crysis\ergc
6.) Check if your CD-Key is available as value in the right window. If not double-click on
"(Default)" and type in the key without "-" and in capital letters.

Ma sono due stili e modalità completamente diversi, come si fà a dire meglio l'uno o meglio l'altro?
Cod4 è un bel gioco ne suo genere come lo è crysis.....

xke non usare la very high quality? mi pare ke un utente avesse controllato ke con vista 64 gli occcupava fino a 3200mb...

da quello che è capitato a me ho toccato i 2GB. i 3 non ancora. tutto su Massima

come detto è evidente che sfora, ricorrendo allo swap dell'hard disk.

ma scusate un attimo. il secondo livello da dove parte ?

ho sentito di molti che si sono lamentati x' è più pesante.

io invece ho trovato che più avanti è più leggero. in alcune zone ho toccato i 70-80 frame. a 1360x768 AA2x tutto su massima blur disattivati. vista64 bin32

cmq davvero assurdo il tragitto dove c'è il fiume. è bellissimo.

per chi sosteneva che 4gb su vista64 facevano la differenza..come confermato da GameSpot, Crysis non riceve benefici da incrementi di memoria nel framerate. Incide nei tempi di caricamento.

non migliorerà le prestazioni, ci stà, tra l'altro io non l'ho mai sostenuto, però a me all'uscita del gioco con l'exe 64bit trovo 2.3 giga di ram occupati....
