In pratica installare prima i WDM e poi i drivers normali,e infine riavviare.

ah ok... allora: amd 3800X2 ,3 Gb ram v-data,asus a8n-e, enermax 485W tutto a default..... ora ho anche provato quake 4,riesco a giocare bene a 1280x1024,qualità ultra,tutto attivo tranne sincronia e AA 2X... dici che va bene come prestazioni? colacolando che gli ho flash il bios a 700\820??

atitool quel problema che mi fa a cosa è dovuto?

ci sono essenzialmente due problemini possibili:
1) l'alim potrebbe non farcela pienamente...anche se in genere se non ce la fa si blocca tutto,ma potresti eventualmente provare,se ne hai la possibilità,un alim migliore
2) prova a togliere un banco di ram da 1gb,così te ne restano 2 e vai in dual channel. Il terzo giga supplementare è del tutto inutile,tranne se non fai grosse elaborazioni video...fidati!

E' l'ennesima volta che lo ripeto, anche se molti me lo contestano: il con l'enermax 485w nn riuscivo a fare reggere il sistema in Overclock.

Il fatto di settare le frequenze in 3d con atitools deve essere di natura software. prova a disinstallare tutto (drivers,atitools,atitray) fai un drivercleaner e reinstalla per benino.

A cosa servono i driver WDM?

Io uso Ati Tray Tools perchè preferisco installare solo il pacchetto "Display driver only". Per la funzione VIVO cosa dovrei aggiungere all'installazione?

appunto devi installare i WDM....
per l'AVIVO invece i drivers appositi. Che non è altro l'encoder mpeg2 in hardware alla fine,che lo fa in software!!!!

Io pure installo solo i drivers,i wdm e l'avivo. il CCC nn lo metto. mi crasha!

ok grazie proverò a togliere un banco da 1, però anche adesso sono in dual channel perchè ne ho 2x1Gb e 2X512Mb .... penso che la prossima cosa che farò è una bella formattazione,così sistemo atitool e tutti i driver.. ah,con 3dmark 2005 faccio intorno ai 9100 punti,è normale?

l'AVIVO cmq abilita la decodifica mpeg2,per tutti i filmati. ti libera il processore vedendo i filmati. Ho la skystar2 e mi serve per guardare meglio la tv da sat,senza occupare il processore

aspe aspe..vuoi dire che senza il pacchetto avivo l'occupazione della cpu durante la riproduzione dei filmati è più alta?
ho letto meglio, quello sul sito ati è il pacchetto comprensivo di AVIVO video converter, Encoder e Parental Control e Visual C++ Patch; non installarlo non inficia le capacità di decodifica AVIVO delle schede che lo supportano
