In definitiva : è normale che nel pannello di Avira io non riesca a vedere quella opzione ? Da quello che hai detto,credo di aver capito che,quando Avira viene installato su un sistema operativo a 64 bit,quel modulo di autoprotezione non viene installato...e in pratica su Vista viene "sostituito",nelle sue funzioni,proprio dallo UAC.

E normale che la voce non compaia.

Io quando ho installato Avira,lo UAC lo tenevo abilitato,e lo tengo abilitato tuttora...
Mi chiedo : se Avira lo avessi installato dopo aver disabilitato lo UAC,quel modulo di autoprotezione si sarebbe installato o no ?

No, perché attualmente il modulo di autoprotezione è delegato alla funzione anti-rootkit dell'antivirus (non presente per vista 64)

Inoltre la cosa strana che ho notato,a dire la verità, è che il processo avgnt.exe riesco a killarlo tranquillamente dal pannello di gestione risorse...

Gli altri processi,cioè scheduler e AvGuard non ho ancora provato...

E' normale perché avgnt.exe non è protetto (E' il processo che visualizza l'icona dell'ombrellino).

Chiedo aiuto nel thread ufficiale per questo problema:

Da qualche anno uso Avira AntiVir P.E. Classic (free), con soddisfazione.
La licenza prevede una scadenza definita per l'uso del programma, che pero' si proroga automaticamente all'approssimarsi della stessa...
... o meglio, questo e' SEMPRE avvenuto fino al 31/12/2007 !

Ora il programma mi dice "licenza scaduta" e NON si aggiorna, ne' automaticamente, ne' manualmente !!

Ho naturalmente dato un'occhiata su questo thread e su altri forum, ma non ho trovato traccia di questa novita', e io non ho recentemente cambiato nulla nell'impostazione del prg o del computer, ne' installato altri antivirus o firewall....

Per questo, prima di disinstallare e re-installare AntiVir, chiedo un Vs/ parere....

Non so se lo avete gia scritto ma basta fare l'aggiornamento manuale andate in questo link scaricate i file e seguite le istruzioni eì semplicissimo

R:Avira Personal,nella versione Classic,non ha server dedicati per gli aggiornamenti firme,per cui può capitare,in particolare nel periodo in cui è uscita una nuove versione,che i server risultino intasati per ore se non giorni.In tal caso è consigliabile provare in tarda nottata impostano l'aggiornamento dallo scheduler,oppure aggiornare manualmente il programma,

• scaricando le firme e aggiornando manualmente dal pannello di controllo di avira,selezionando "update->manual update" e imputando il file scaricato da qui
  
• scaricando l'eseguibile del programma da qui nel caso siano state rilasciate nuovi versioni del programma

anche se è meglio non abusarne

Non so per quale motivo, ma vista mi sega l'applicazione che si occupa degli update, compare per una frazione di secondo tra i processi eseguiti e poi scompare e mi faceva la stessa cosa con spybot che poi ho tolto per disperazione, qualcuno sa cosa posso fare per far funzionare normalmente antivir?
