HALF LIFE 2 ecco il primo grande mod single player: CRISIS 51!!!!

ciao a tutti per chi come me ha amato half life e i suoi mod da poke 646 agli altri ecco che anche per half life 2 sta per uscire il suo primo grande mod single player:

CRISIS 51.

The Story:
Mark Slater was a highly skilled and intelligent Delta-Force operative, as well as his superb combat skills he was also a chemical and explosive weapons expert.

During a mission to disarm a terrorist faction of a chemical weapon in the Middle East, Slater’s team were separated leaving just Slater and the team commander. After an encounter with a sniper, the team leader was badly injured and Slater was ordered to leave him and run. Eventually Slater was forced to leave his commander; he made a run for it but was eventually captured by the terrorists and subsequently tortured. After a week of interrogation he was finally released, much to the surprise of Slater who thought he would certainly have been executed. Slater had no idea why he was released so suddenly.

Although Slater wished to continue combat, the Delta-Force figured that this was too much of a traumatic event and he was assigned lighter duties.

He became a weapons consultant at the Groom lake facility (AREA 51) and has worked there ever since. He thought his combat days were over. He was wrong…

Davidov Romanenko formed a terrorist organization called ‘Blackstar’ in Russia in early 1989. An ex-Spetsnaz (Russian special forces), Davidov was discharged for dealing weapons and equipment to known terrorists. He escaped a prison sentence and fled overseas, but his family could not escape the following, angry and empty-handed terrorists.

Davidov returned to Russia some months later to find his brothers and sister dead. After emerging from many weeks in hiding, Davidov rounded up a group of ex-military and Special Forces mercenaries, who’d had similar experiences to Davidov or who knew nothing else but killing and had no use in civilian life. Davidov also promised them good pay but that all depended on whether their goal was successful…

The group launched sudden strikes on local terrorists, drugs and arms dealers and other criminal organizations, including the murderers of Davidov’s family. The group were indeed paid well. Money and arms were easily acquired from the group’s targets and the group became larger and larger, even acquiring members from other terrorists who were attacked, as the number of members grew higher, as did their aims. The terrorist group then began to attack military bases and installations; new factions of the organization were set up around the world, as it became the ‘Blackstar’ terrorist organization, the terrifying skill of these terrorists was kept a secret from the world, as was their links to certain governments. After several skirmishes with US Special Forces in the Middle East, Blackstar suddenly disappeared in late 1995 and no further contacts with the US occurred… until now.

In a world where the public are kept in the dark, conspiracy can run free. In a place, which doesn’t’t exist, anything can happen.

There is an area of secrets, lies and conspiracies in a remote corner if the Nevada desert, its name is the Groom Lake facility, better known as Area 51. There are things of great power, secret things that lurk in the underground labs of the Groom Lake facility, things that some men would sacrifice everything for. One of these men is Davidov Romanenko.

Blackstar will break their silence and Mark Slater will have the toughest and most confusing time of his life, where he must face his past as well as fight for his life in an impossible situation.

Features:

A Total Conversion: Essentially everything from the HL2 world is not in Crisis 51. Everything is new. New textures, new sounds, new models, new code. Obviously we won’t be re-writing the HL2 engine as allot of its features will be used in Crisis 51. These features will be added to, and made better as well as new features made. Crisis 51 will not look like HL2 when we are done with it.

Gripping Story Line: Immerse yourself in a story line,which is brought to you through hours of cinematic effects, both ingame, and in pre-rendered Full-Motion-Video effects. The story is the main feature for Crisis 51, and it is what we are most proud of. What you know of the story is only 1% of the full story. Every character has a detailed history, the story is seen from various perspectives. It will shock you, scare you and push you forward deeper into the Crisis 51 world. Be part of the story, influence and change the story. Share the story with life like characters with a past, and a future if your feeling nice.

Over 30 Realistically Modeled Weapons: These weapons have all been carefully selected to bring in high levels of realism, and balance to the gameplay. Each falls into a category of which you will only be able to carry so many of each. Also to top it all off with an Area 51 twist will be a few secret experimental weapons which you will discover in the Area 51 labs. All weapons have been researched in allot of detail so they may be implemented into the game at a very high and accurate level of detail.

Realistic Damage System: Crisis 51 will affect the player when they have damage. Effects will be take a shot to the arm, your aim get’s worse. Take a shot to the leg, and your general movement, speed etc decreases. But don’t worry, the same rules will apply to your enemies as well.

Advanced Inventory Management System: With only a few options of what to carry what you choose to take with you will make a large difference. Take a powerful weapon, but with a rare ammo type, or an efficient but also a weapon of desperation the knife without the need of ammo. Your choices will influence the way you play Crisis 51, depending on the type of weapons you have will decide how you approach certain areas of the game. Meaning you can play Crisis 51 again and try another tactic, another style.

Multiple Paths: Who wants to play a Single Player linear experience nowadays? Every chapter, evreymap has multiple ‘endings’ as such. You can play Crisis 51 as a complete stealth game if your a bit of a silent death person. Or you can play it rambo style if that’s more your style. Either way play it how you want to play the game. When your done go back and play it another way, go another way, make a different decision, choose different weapons. Make Crisis 51 the game you want it to be.

Iron Sights: As an option for weapons without scopes use iron sights. Increases the accuracy greatly and will come in useful on harder difficulty settings where there are no crosshairs, where you will have to rely on scopes, laser pointers, and iron sights.

Stealth: Use Stealth and Skills to make that silent kill, be it close up with your combat knife, or far away with the Dragunov SVD, by taking enemies out silently and not raising the alarm no reinforcements will be called to the area, no extra resistance summoned. Make your life easier by killing swiftly and silently.

A New simplistic HUD: No longer rely on your HUD to see how many rounds you have left, cause how would you know how many are left? Depending on what difficulty you choose will change the HUD on how accurate health and ammo readings are.

Extended Player Abilities: Run faster, with the disadvantage of no weapons to be used. Go prone for the ultimate sniping head shot.

All New Music Scores: Both for unique scenes, and for your ingame battle music. Music styles ranging from orchestral to metal.

Large Character Cast: Interact with a large variety of characters, each with their very own unique looks and tactics. Each character will be more suited towards different weapons, accuracies will differ depending on who’s behind the trigger, if its a Delta Force you have a killing machine, if its a scientist, its best to get out of the way. Give characters different weapons, find out what weapons are suited to which type of character. Remember to give them ammo as well, or they will run out.

Trust No One: Because Area 51 was taken over with allot of help from the inside, do you know who to trust? What about your colleges, can you trust any of them? Will you trust them with a P90? Or during a gun fight will they turn on you? Or will they even suspect you!

No Duals: We are making a wide variety of each character, with lots of different faces, different equipment, different everything, the combinations will be endless, making each character unique.

Enemy Tactics: Peak around corners, pick up alternate weaponry, and go prone and wait in the shadows. Our way of leveling the playing field. They also will have the disadvantage which you have of ammo. When they run out of ammo, what will they do? What will there options be?

AI: Generally the AI varies between each terrorist. Some are fitter, some are better trained this is done randomly so you never know the skill you will be up against. Some terrorists are more ‘loyal’ to the BlackStar cause and therefore will fight you to the death, others may run or surrender. Many other AI things are being implemented, these will be unveiled soon.

All new dialogue: Done by some of the best free working voice actors around. Not only will their be English, but some will speak Russian, subtitles will be provided. This will make Crisis 51 more professional and realistic, I mean ever met a Russian Terrorist who always talks English to you?

Questo è il rpblema dei mod moderni.....aspettiamo,aspettiamo e poi non arriva niente o i progetti naufragano.
Bei tempi Quake2 e Hl1,oggi fare un mod impiega molto più tmpo e molte più persone.

Cmq speriamo!

Lol il più grande Mod della storia!
ha usato praticamente tutti i motori 3D di giochi esistenti....ma non è mai uscito nei negozi.

Sono arrivato alla conclusione che hl2 è stata una delle piu' grosse fregature degli ultimi tempi, prime di vedere dei veri mod single o multiplayer, secondo me mancherà pochissimo ad HL3 ed avremo tra le mani consolles e giochi di nuova generazione.....
Nessuno sa nulla di CS2,DOD2,TF2, DOPO 7 ANNI E' INCONCEPIBILE!
