Timing ram su asus P4PE 845
ciao a tutti, il mio pc è P4 Nothwood 533 Fsb 2,4 Ghz B montato su P4PE relase 1.03 con 2 banchi diversi di memoria 1 ddr 2700 500Mb e 1 ddr 3200 400 Mhz. Scheda grafica Radeon 9000 128 Mb.
Premettendo che ho da poco acquistato un bellissimo Hp dv6-1250 mi sento in obbligo verso la mia old scheda madre di farle provare delle frequenze nuove e imparare almeno qualcosa sull OC. Leggendo un po' di quà e un po' di là mi rendo conto che il chip che monta la mia scheda madre e cioè l'intel 845 nn è indicato per OC allora mi chiedo non posso tirare un po' le memorie??e se sì come?? allego un report di cpuZ . non vorrei fare danni visto che il desk và ancora ma mi piacerebbe velocizarlo un pochettino Mi date una mano? non mi mandate af....lo per il testo seguente, sono niubbo per Oc. Ciao
La frequenza delle memorie è legata a quella del bus di sistema da un divisore caratteristico (che sui P4 in genere è uguale a 1), quindi per overcloccare le memorie devi necessariamente aumentare la frequenza dell'FSB e quindi anche del processore; come già hai detto tu però la mobo che hai non è molto incline all'overclock...ovviamente puoi sempre provare!!! è possibile modificare anche i timings, ma sui i chipset moderni questi hanno uno scarso effetto sulle performance
