Portatile legge i cd ma non li masterizz più URGENTISSIMO

Il mio porttile legge tranquillamente i cd e i dvd ma ha smesso di masterizzarli.
Uso gli stessi supporti che usavo prima e che , provati su un altro pc desktop , funzionano perfettamente.
Ho provato a masterizzare sia con Nero che con il programma di masterizzazzione di Windows ma niente.
Cosa devo fare?????
