[UBUNTU] Driver Wireless Broadcom BCM4328
Ciao, ho una scheda Wireless Broadcom BCM4328. e uso Ubuntu Stambecco Intrepido.
Dopo aver fatto alcune prove seguendo alcune guide e utilizzando NDSIWRApper ma nn funzionando niente (come invece mi funzionava in Airone Audace) ho scoperto su una guida che i driver per la mia scheda sono già nel kernel linux e basta attivarli da Sistema-> driver hardware (Guida:http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/D...%28broadcom%29) Il fatto è che me l'attiva senza scaricare niente e poi dice che il driver è attivato ma non attualmente in uso, e infatti WICD non mi rileva niente e neanche iwconfig che dice tutto no wireless extension. Quali sono i passi che devo fare perchè sia in uso e non veda più "no wireless extension" e possa finalmente rilevare le ret con WICD? Grazie per l'aiuto! |

ciao ho anche io una bcm43xx nel portatile e non uso più ndiswrapper dai tempi della 7.04.
per far andare in un attimo la scheda con i driver inclusi nel kernel, collegati ad internet momentaneamente col cavo, apri l'utility di ubuntu per i driver proprietari, fagli scaricare il firmware, riavvia e vai col wireless

Allora io ho fatto come hai detto è mi dice che il driver è attivato e in uso senza però rilevare le reti wireless, in compenso facendo iwconfig in eth1 dice che access point not associated e se faccio iwlist dice interace doesn't support scanning.
Poi ho riavviato il pc e invece ritorna tutto come prima: il driver è attivo ma non attualmente in uso! |

su eth1 mi da il nome della mia scheda wireless dopo che attivo il driver ma dopo il riavvio dice come dicevo prima che il driver c'è ma non è in uso e quindi col comando dmesg | grep eth non lo vede (quello che ho messo prima sul sito) ma ora cheho disattivato e riattivato la wireless senza riavviare mi dice che su eth1 ho il wireless.

ehm non ho ne un essid ne un nickname..., o almeno come faccio a sapere quali sono?
Forse mi sono dimenticato di dire che io non ho wifi in casa, io voglio solo fare in modo che mi funzioni il wi fi, cher ilevi reti wi fi per quando sono per esempio in università e mi devo collegare a internet, non devo configurarlo per un ipotetico router di casa. |
