Che scheda madre ho ??

Ho comprato un Acer aspire con un procio pentium D 925 3.0 ma non so che scheda madre ho per valutare un eventuale upgrade del processore.
Ha uns scheda video integrata Mirage 3 e audio integrato Realtek 883 mi sembra.

programi come aida ,everest non mi dicono che marca e , solo che e ACER
forse fabricata specialmente per acer.

non posso aprire la scatola perche perdo 2 anni di garanzia.

insomma sarrebe possibile mobntare sopra un...E8400 4.0 oppure non suporta lale velocita __????

con everest o cpuz dovresti almeno risalire al north bridge e south bridge e da li poi alla scheda madre (non sono un esperto ma la questione non è da porsi in termini di velocità)

pero un conputer che monta un pentium D 925 deve essere compatibile con un core 2 duo , no ?
ma il mio dubbio e se e compatibile con la serie E8xxx

Il tuo pentium è un 775 di socket ma devi risalire almeno al BUS della scheda madre. L'E8xxx è 1333 di BUS

la tua scheda madre non supporta penryn e non penso che sis attraverso una nuova release del bios possa garantirlo (penso)

pero dice che suporta core 2 duo ....

e 8200 ha il fsb 800, quindi vuol dire che funzionerebbe anche la serie 8 ????
