Ram dd3 three channel su nuova MB
Un saluto a tutti, ho una vecchia scheda madre con chipset x58, ed ho ram three channel (G Skill F3-12800CL9-4GBRL, tre moduli ddr3, 12 GB)
Sto per fare un upgrade del sistema, e per ora la ram proprio vorrei evitare di cambiarla. La scheda madre che prenderò sarà sempre una MSI (gaming 3 con z97) che ha 4 moduli... Posso installare questi tre moduli.... oppure devo per forza sfruttarla in dual channel e quindi avere 8 GB (ne perderei 4...) Grazie in anticipo per le risposte!

ciao, puoi installare anche tutti e 3 i banchi.i due in dual channel continuano a funzionare in dual.l'altro banco funzionerà in single channel

Grazie per la risposta, e scusa se intervengo in ritardo, in questi giorni ci sono stato pochissimo, ok quindi.. installerò tutti e tre i banchi... sospettavo un decadimento prestazionale... ma credo che sarà minimo...se pure ci fosse.
