wardriving e wifi....
ciao a tutti,essendo la mia zona scoperta da telecom per quanto riguarda l'adsl terrestre ho deciso di farmi un contratto per una wireless-adsl ...
ho sentito parlare però che una linea wifi è abbastanza insicura per i fenomeni di wardriving...voi che dite? come posso salvaguardare la mia rete lan che uso per lavoro collegata in internet?

usare la crittografia wpa psk

 secondo te con un router-firewall da 100 euro collegato alla rete lan posso "difendermi" decentemente? |

Ciao,
tutti i router wireless recenti hanno la possibilità di attivare WPA-PSK e, di norma è molto semplice, basta attivarla nel menu del router e "inventare" una password di almeno 8 caratteri alfanumerici. Quando si tenterà di connettersi alla rete con un pc, un notebook o un palmare, verrà richiesta la password.

quindi sarebbe opportuno mettere una crittografia wpa-psk
poi sui pc metti la chiave e via
