DRI su ATI Radeon 9100 IGP.........

sto cercando di attivare il Direct rendering su un notebook con scheda video ATI Radeon 9100 igp, però nonostante sul kernel sia attivato e sul XF86config-4 abbia inserito come driver "radeon", il risultato è sempre questo:

Da quello che sono riuscito a capire facendo alcune ricerche, la Radeon 9100 igp non è un gran scheda video, però il 3d dovrebbe essere supportato.
Purtroppo non sono riuscito a trovare how-to in italiano e con l'inglese ho sempre il dubbio di interpretare male alcune frasi.
Avete qualche link da consigliarmi (in italiano).

Ecco, sono riuscito a fare un po' di casino
Seguendo la guida che mi hai indicato, ho provato ad installare un po' di librerie e sono arrivato al punto che non mi installa e disinstalla più nulla dicendomi di provare ad usare apt-get -f install che comunque non risolve il problema e mi da il seguente errore:

# apt-get -f install
