monitor che si spegne e si riaccende
salve, non so se sono nel forum giusto; in caso indicatemi quello più adatto...
Allora, il mio sistema operativo è Ubuntu (ultima versione), e il mio monitor è un LG FALTRON M2262D collegato alla scheda video tramite cavo vga. Il mio problema è che spesso il monitor si spegne (come se vada in standby per pochi secondi) e poi si riaccende. Perchè? - provato a cambiare i valori della sospensione, o disattivarla - il monitor ha una funzione "risparmio energetico" ? |

Inoltre in fase di avvio (quando accendo il computer), invece lo fa sempre: va in standby per circa 10 secondi, e si riaccende un po' prima di vedere la scrivania di ubuntu. Inoltre non so perchè nel mio computer non c'è più il file /root/xorg.conf in cui dicono si può modificare la frequenza (del monitor o della scheda video?). Sospensione disattivata. - usavi gli stessi driver video? (proprietari o liberi)
- xorg.conf era in /etc/X11/xorg.conf per generarlo (anche se non serve piu'): http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/V...ver_grafico.3F - pensavo fosse un problema del monitor e non del sistema |

proverei a usare i driver che usavi con l'altro sistema
li puoi installare anche a amano http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/Video/Amd *edit ho chiesto, e in effetti per le 16.xx non ci sono piu' i driver proprietari "ati" viene usato il "radeon" nel pacchetto: xserver-xorg-video-radeon http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/Video/Amd/Radeon Ultima modifica di sacarde : 05-01-2017 alle 21:01. |

i driver opensource ci dovrebbero gia essere, lo vedi dal comando:

dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-video una volta accertato, mi sembra non ci sia scelta o altro da fare (fatto delle prove giocando con i valori della sospensione) p.s. la versione ubuntu dove funzionava bene, quale era? |

- prova una sospensione con tempo lungo
- per vedere se hai errori, esegui da terminale: Codice:
sudo systemctl --failed Codice:
sudo journalctl -b -p err - era la 16.04 lts? (ha supporto di 5 anni) la 16.10 ha supporto 9 mesi - i driver radeon li hai installati e vengono usati, lo vedi da /var/log/Xorg.0.log |

nella videata non si vedono quali driver usa
ma il sistema lo hai ancora? prova a vedere se trovi installati i driver proprietari ati/radeon dpkg -l | grep fglrx p.s. sudo ubuntu-drivers devices dovrebbe mostrarti i pacchetti installabili per i tuoi device |

Hai provato a collegare il monitor ad altro pc? Il monitor che si spegne e accende random potrebbe essere anche un condensatore o più che stanno finendo il loro ciclo di vita... |
