Tyan ha rilasciato nuove versioni di bios per le proprie schede madri Dual Socket A: per la scheda <a href=http://www.tyan.com/support/html/b_tg_mpx.html>Tiger MPX</a>, basata su chipset AMD 760MPX, sono state inserite le seguenti novità: <blockquote><i>Improves memory support, fix ECC not work problem, improves IDE performance, add IO Ports dynamic Enable/Disable support under Windows ACPI, disable APIC for Non-MP, or None match MP CPUs, and fix ATI Rageon hang in POST problem.</i></blockquote> Per la scheda Thunder K7 è invece disponibile la versione di bios 2.10 final, a <a href=http://www.tyan.com/support/html/b_th_k7.html>questo indirizzo</a>, con le seguenti novità: <blockquote><i>Add IO ports dynamic Enable/Disable for ACPI. Add dual monitor support with AGP + PCI VGA (either on board ATI VGA or add on PCI VGA).</i></blockquote> Per la scheda Tiger MP, infine, un nuovo bios è disponibile a <a href=http://www.tyan.com/support/html/b_tg_mp.html>questo indirizzo</a>, con le seguenti modifiche: <blockquote><i>Fix Win2000/WinXP shutdown problem with Firewire card.
