Errori al boot di debian etch

Salve,
ho installato debian etch sul mio portatile (un dell 630m con processore pm 760 non smp) e nonostante sia riuscito a far funzionare tutte le periferiche, al boot compaiono questi errori non consecutivi:

Inoltre ho un problema con la rete samba. Riesco tranquillamente ad esplorarla, ad aprire i file di testo, foto e pdf ma non mi apre i documenti con openoffice (si apre e si richiude senza dire nulla) e non riesco a riprodurre file video e musicali usando totem, il quale mi dice:

Impossibile riprodurre il file "smb://il_mio_file"
No URI handler implemented for "smb".

Manca qualche pacchetto? libgnomevfs2, libgnomevfs2-extra e gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs sono installati.

No, non l'ho disabilitato. Comunque il plug and play funziona, per esempio metto la chiavetta e la monta da solo. Poi è un portatile, mi sa che neanche si possa disabilitare dal bios.

Per i problemi riguardanti il secondo post hai idee?
