i programmi funzionanti ci sono, tutti quelli a 32 bit continueranno a funzionare, si possono installare quelli finchè non usciranno le versioni a 64 bit e quindi sostituirle man mano che usciranno.

Il problema più grosso secondo me saranno i drivers, ho il sospetto che prodotti "vecchi" (magari anche solo di un anno) saranno lasciati al loro destino (mi vengono in mente gli scanner che di solito sono tra i più penalizzati).

I miei primi momenti furono traumatici: Alcohol NON VA, RivaTuner idem!

E' vero che sono applicativi che interagiscono con i dispositivi, comunque di fatto non vanno.
Però anche winzip 8 ha indicato una incompatibilità nota.

Credo proprio che per un ambiente di produzione ci sia da andarci ben cauti.

io ho installato la rc2 da qualke giorno e mi trovo bene.
le prestazioni sono aumentate nel encoding .. nei giochi nn ho ancora provato.
i drivers sono un macello .. mi mancano quelli per il raid 3114, i setpoint della logitech, i saitek del joypad, epson per la stamante .. aspetta e spera

Se fosse solo per questo, potresti passare a Linux.....a 64bit c'è già da un pezzo....
Comunque, la "molla" che più di tutte, ha spinto Micsft, è l'annucio, da parte Intel, dell'imminente uscita dei suoi proc. a 64bit.
Si trova già una recensione, in una rivista di settore, del mese di Aprile.
