Piccoli problemi stupidi
Ciao a tutti. Scusate se infango il forum con un post del genere, ma avevo bisongo di alcuni piccoli chiarimenti. Dopo un periodo di distro user-friendly, sono tornato a Debian. Ho installato sid con gnome e inutile dire che va da dio ed è velocissima. Ho però due piccoli problemi (che problemi in realtà non sono, l'unico problema è la mia ignoranza
 ) che spero mi aiutiate a risolvere:- possiedo una scheda audio della c-media 4.1; sul kernel 2.4 ricompilavo il kernel e abilitavo l'opzione four_speaker e come per magia avevo i due cananli audio (e quindi il 4.1) perfettamente funzionanti. Sul kernel 2.6 invece mi sembra di capire dai messaggi d'avvio che il sottosistema audio non usi più oss ma alsa. La procedura per attivare il 4.1 è sempre la stessa o bisogna usare qualche comando particolare di alsa? - Tramite modprobe ho attivato l'apm, e il pc, un Pentium III Katmai 550 su i440bx, quando dò 'shutdown -h now' al posto di spegnersi, si riavvia. Premetto che il pc non ha nessun tipo di problema, secondo voi è un bug del kernel o ho sbagliato qualcosa io? Ho visto che nella lista dei moduli c'è anche l'acpi, dite che potrebbe sostituire l'apm? Un grosso grazie a tutti Ciao |

esatto, tenendoti il thread aperto e il make menuconfig da un altra parte riesci ad adattarlo.
mi sono scordato che prima di riavviare in /etc/modules devi aggiungere il modulo per la scheda audio che usi te nel mio caso ho "snd-emu10k1" ciaoz

Ciao, scusa se mi faccio sentire solo ora, per quanto riguarda alsa grazie ai tuoi consiglio ora tutto funziona perfettamente
, permane invece il problema del riavvio. A questo punto penso però che ci sia un problema di alimentazione, proverò a rimuovere qualche componente per volta per vedere se il problema sparisce!Grazie ancora Ciao |
