dual channel perchè non va?
provo a riformulare la domanda...
vediamo se qualcuno ha quanche dritta per risolvere il problema: Ho assemblato un pc con le seguenti caratteristiche: SCHEDA MADRE GA8IPE1000 pro2 PROCESSORE Intel P4 2800 prescott RAM 2 moduli DDR 400 da 256M ciscuno perchè, secondo voi, all'avvio il BIOS segnala che i 512Mb sono in Single Channel? E' possibile intervenire da BIOS per attivare il dual channel? Grazie per gli eventuali suggerimenti! PS le memorie sono collocate, come da manuale della mobo, sul 1 e 3 slot. ... La marca non so... sulla confezione c'era scritto solo:
MEMORIA DDR 256MB 400MHZ NO PARITY ... Circa la posizione degli slot sono sicuro, sul manuale della mobo Gigabyte, c'è chiaramente indicato che per attivare il dual channel si deve mettere le ram o sul 1 e 3 slot o sul 2 e 4... comunque io ho provato anche le altre posizioni e non c'è niente da fare... ... Per quanto riguarda il BIOS, siceramente non so cosa devo impostare per attivare il dual channel (ho scaricato anche l'ultima versione del bios ma non ho trovato l'opzione..) :-((( |

Ti ho chiesto la marca perchè ho letto sul forum di gente che ha messo due banchi di Elixir DDR400 negli slot giusti e non ne volevano sapere di funzionare in dual channel a 400 MHz

nessuno sa se sulla mobo della Gigabyte c'è modo di "imporre" via bios il dual channel, magari anche abbassando le frequenze delle RAM?
