Io virrei fare un'altra osservazione: confrontando i risultati ottenuti con le cpu intel dual e quad core, si vede che, a parità di architettura, raddoppiando i core si ha un aumento di circa il 14%.
Volendo supporre che un aumento più o meno simile si avrebbe anche con un eventuale phenom x4 rispetto ai phenom x2, si osserva che l'ipotetico phenom x2 andrebbe più veloce dell'athlon x2 a parità di frequenza di appena il 4%. Onestamente mi sembra abbastanza assurdo che una revisione così pesante dell'architettura possa portare a miglioramenti di prestazioni così piccoli. Ciao

Mi pare inoltre che il confronto tra un E6850 e un Athlon 64 a 3GHz (il 6000+) fatto da Hardware Upgrade nella comparativa delle 48 CPU non porti mai il primo ad un vantaggio superiore del 25% rispetto al secondo e nella maggior parte dei casi il vantaggio si attesta intorno al 10-15%. Nei giochi questo vantaggio mi pare ancora più irrisorio. Nella media complessiva si trova un +10%
Nel test riportato invece E6850 (70fps) ha un vantaggio di circa 30% rispetto all' Athlon FX (54 fps)... Non so se si possano trarre delle conclusioni: non sono esperto in materia ![]() Ultima modifica di gamberetto : 05-11-2007 alle 11:48. |

dicono che il test cpu sia favorevole agli intel, forse spiegato il grande divario...cmq soprattutto per le cpu, meglio aspettare una recensione completa

Ragazzi, se i test sono veritieri significa che Phenom "faticherà" a pareggiare con i Kentsfield, e perderà il confronto con i Penryn...

Un po' di intrattenimento sul reparto prezzi.
Allora, prendendo come spunto questo sito, preso come riferimento anche dall'articolo di HWUpgrade disponibile sul sito, possiamo trarre subito dei confronti sui prezzi. AMD X2 5600+ costa 164$. In Italia lo si trova on line da più shop a 120€. C'è quindi una differenza di prezzo pari al 27% rispetto al prezzo in dollari. Seguendo lo stesso ragionamento: AMD Phenom X4 9500 costa 247$. Prendendo come riferimento lo scarto di prezzo citato poco fà con l'altro processore, detraiamo un 27%. Il prezzo negli stessi shop dovrebbe essere 180€. Ovvio che, sempre ipotizzando che i prezzi espressi in dollari da quel sito siano quelli reali, ci sarà un ricarico maggiore sui nuovi Phenom a causa della "novità". ma applicando gli stessi parametri, 180€ esce fuori come prezzo e IMHO andrebbe a ruba in qualsiasi caso. più realisticamente credo in prezzi tra i 200 ed i 220€.

Nota lieta è che il chipset 790X può gestire il crossfire in configurazione a 24 linee ( 16x+8x), mentre fino ad oggi si credeva che questo chipset poteva usare due schede video in configurazione Crossfire 2X8x...
