UFFFFFF!!!!! Freccia del mouse a scatti!!!
ma come cacchio è? A volte durante gli accessi al disco mi va tutto a scatti.. compresa la freccia del mouse.. e se sto ascoltando musica o video vanno a scatti pure quelli

Puo essere questo il motivo?[/b][/u]

se hai win xp è normale che sullo stesso canale irq ci siano + periferiche.Io non ci smanetterei tanto
 sai com'è.....con windows poi uno se ne penteper quanto riguarda il mouse succede anche a me,credo che cia qualcosa che prenda troppe risorse.A me succede per esempio quando faccio backup da dvd---->divx.Cmq se non ricordo male esiste una versione di winamp che da questo problema.

uso win2k pro.. e comunque il problema consiste nel rallentamento della freccia del mouse e, quando ascolto un mp3 (mediaplayer), c'è _anche_ l'interruzione del flusso audio.
Cosa strana che lo stesso SO, installato sullo stesso hardware prima non dava questo problema.. Devo cercare di capire se ho installato qualche driver in meno o qualche aggiornamento mal riuscito

allora... la situazione è questa.
Il primo HD è un Maxtor da 20Gb (non ricordo la sigla) che sta sul controller (integrato) Promise ATA100 come DMA5. Il secondo HD (che uso come mem temporanea, swap, immondizia) sta sul controller primario (senza slave). E' un Quantum da 6Gb ed è in PIO mode 4 UDMA 2 (con un cavo 80pin). Se provo a forzarlo in UDMA 3 mi dà HDD Fail. Parte solo su 2. E' normale per un HD del genere? (non so la sigla ma l'ho comprato un paio di anni fa). Per il resto il BIOS sembra ottimizzato al meglio... non so proprio che dire. Sigh!

il problema sono i driver promise. Prova ad installare windows xp (ke riconosce automaticamente il promise), i suoi driver risolvono il tuo problema.
