According to our source, on top of the already announced Photo Gallery feature, and Divx 3.11 support, here are some more of the expected feaures of FW 2.60:

* Safe Mode
* Blu-Ray Disc Theme Support
* HDD Data can be accessed and deleted in-game
* 3-D Secure Support
* Improved System Stability

We are not exactly sure what these features offer, especially the Blu-Ray Disc Theme Support, and the Safe Mode, but we are looking forward to finding out."

No so se quello che è scritto in quel post sia tutto vero, ma ti posso assicurare che GT4 è riscalato davvero molto bene dalla PS3 (la 60 GB ovviamente, ahimè la mia è defunta... ), mentre è vero che FFXIII è senza speranza. Inguardabile anche su PS3 Direi qundi che probabilmente c'è un fondo di verità

Si, possiedo GT4 e sono contento dell'upscaling: la questione interessante era quella relativa alla versione Platinum, che sembrerebbe più "predisposta" all'upscaling...

Ragazzi da ieri sera la ps3 mi sta facendo un gioco strano: il sensore di accensione la accende sempre ma non la spegne mai.
Non vi so dire cosa sia successo ma quando la ps3 ha il LED Rosso [è "spenta"] e premo sul sensore parte subito, quando invece è accesa e sono nella HOME e premo sul sensore non succede NULLA.
E' come se non avvertisse che ho il dito sopra.

Nel caso dovessi portarla in assistenza: la porto da Mediaworld e loro la devono mandare a sony? Grazie delle info

Non so se ti può interessare, ma non sono mai riuscito a spegnere la console da quel sensore...

Credo sia normale.
Per spegnere la console col tasto principale bisogna tenerlo premuto qualche secondo: IMHO hanno fatto apposta per evitare che uno semplice sfioramento per errore, magari sostituendo un disco, spenga la console senza volerlo.

quoto..bisogna tenerlo premuto almeno 5 secondi..altrimenti bisogna tenere premuto il tasto "P" del joysticke selezionare spegni il sistema..

This new feature does as it sounds: allows special themes to be used on your main screen, much like the game-specific ones downloaded from the PSN store, but instead taken from Blu-ray discs which include them as a special feature.

The Seth Rogen action comedy Pineapple Express is reported to be the first Blu-ray to come with a theme. The disc has been released in both the USA and the UK, but details are unclear if both versions include the feature. Anyone with the disc and an updated PS3 care to confirm all this?"

Andando a memoria: dal menù del browser selezioni "cronologia" e poi premi triangolo, dovrebbe esserci "elimina tutto"...
