Dato che sto per acquistare una seconda DS4, mi potete dare maggiori delucidazioni sul supporto futuro dei quad core? La DS4 li supporterà pienamente? Mentre la ASUS P5B Deluxe? Ero indeciso tra queste due.....avendo già una giga, volevo provare anche una asus.....

Lascio orthos a lavorare torno e trovo orthos stopped e mi dava la seguente schermata:

ma con divisore 2,50 va piu veloce? quale e' quello che inposta se metto auto???

Con 2.00 va in sincrono ma con frequneza + bassa mentre con 2.50 è in asincrono con frequenza a 500 (se l'fsb è a 400).Devi vedere con quali va meglio...sempre test di velocità!

Sinceramente io se li regge imposterei ddr1000 (2.50) sempre che non ti dia problemi di stabilità...

Con auto imposta 2.00!

Devi cercare il file stress.txt e vedi cosa c'è scritto...cmq consiglio mio: non lasciare tutto su auto....impostali te almeno i voltaggi della cpu e i tmings principali!

Devi cercare il file stress.txt e vedi cosa c'è scritto...cmq consiglio mio: non lasciare tutto su auto....impostali te almeno i voltaggi della cpu e i tmings principali!

Cmq è strano. A 400x6 mi dava problemi. Adesso a 400x8 sembra andare meglio.

Piccola nota 1: da everest il voltaggio della cpu varia da 1.1 a 1.4 in base al carico sulla cpu. Dovrei trovare il voltaggio che mi garantisce stabilità in tutte le situazioni. Considerando il fatto che uso il dissipatore in dotazione, in attesa del liquido, qual'è secondo te il voltaggio da non superare per evitare di far danni?

Piccola nota 2: sempre da everest mi riporta a volte una differenza di temperatura tra i due core di 1°. La temperatura del secondo core è sempre >= a quella del primo. Visto questo (allego i log di orthos) sapresti dirmi se l'errore è stato commesso dal primo o dal secondo core?

Cmq se vuoi un consiglio: trovare il daily use con il dissy stock e poi metterci il liquido vuol dire dover ricominciare tutto da capo xchè raffreddando a liquido hai maggiore stabilità e temp. + basse...quindi se lo stai facendo x sfizio bene altrimenti se vuoi trovare il daily use da usare in futuro aspetta che ti arrivi tutto...

Voltaggio?Dipende dalle temp.: diciamo che col dissy stock e con orthos attivo credo che max 1.4-1.45 volts li puoi dare ma cmq occhio....

io attualmente booto senza problemi a 390Mhz (senza nessun overvolt del chipset) e poi in winXP salgo a 476Mhz con softFSB. La CPU pare non reggere oltre i 3350Mhz circa senza fare overvolt e per ora sono + che soddisfatto di questo risultato.

Oltre al problema dei discco WD Raptor che si spegne/accende ad ogni riavvio ho notato altre due cose. Anche se ho flashato, tramite l'utilità integrata QFLASH, il bios F5, windows e cpuz mi riportano che ho l' F2 ma datato 20/9/2006. Anche a voi succede?
Sul sito Gigabyte ho letto di un driver chiamato HECI (Host Embedded Control Interface Driver), sembra che serva per regolare dinamicamente la ventola della cpu.E' necessario installarlo? A me sembra che già così la regoli. Serve per far meglio riconoscere il processore a windows?

Cmq prova 333*9 e 400 * 7 e vedi un pò se cambia qualcosa....cmq te lo ripeto che il 3dmark06 con una 7900gt non ti facesse nessun scatto è veramente strano....

Se qualcuno avesse una configurazione simile, sarebbe interessante confrontare i punteggi.

Sono anche interessato ai risultati di sperimentazioni con Nvidia hacked drivers in SLI con la DS4.
