Dan Ackroyd conferma: GHOSTBUSTERS IN HELL

Pareva tutto perduto eppure qualche giorno fa ha confermato in una intervista passata inosservata che il progetto c'è e vive!! Probabilmente sarà stata la reazione del pubblico al nuovo videogame per PS3 e 360...

“Ghostbusters 3 lives today. A year ago it didn’t. I wrote a script called Hell Bent, Ghostbusters go to hell basically. The premise is that it’s Manhellton. There’s Manhattan and ManHELLton. And if you can build an inter-dimensional phase system so that you can go from one dimension to another. We’ve succeeded doing that and we go to the hell side. Downtown, Folley Square - where the cops are, they’re all blue minotaurs. Central Park is this huge deep mine, green demons there, surrounded by black onyx thousand foot high apartment buildings with classic red devils. Very wealthy. And we go visit a Donald Trump like character - Mr. Siffler. Lou Siffler, Lucifer. So I will say we meet the devil in it. It won’t happen as a live action because Billy [Murray] won’t come on to the live action but he will voice his part, as a CGI animated project. With CGI, and animation, the way these cartoons are done, we can do everything I wrote in that script for a lot less money.”

si tutto in CGI e doppiato dagli attori originali (perlomeno da Murray e Ackroyd..)

Così facendo primo potremo rivedere i nostri attor preferiti senza dover fare insensati remake/seguiti come Starsky & Hutch, Hazzard e via dicendo (fino a pochi mesi fa si parlava di un Ghostbusters 3 con Ben Stiller...) secondo potranno far scorrazzare l'ormai vetusta (del 1959...) ECTO-1

L'unico dubbio a questo punto rimane sulla qualità della CGI.. per me può essere cartoonesca così

ma se me la fanno come il prossimo d'uscita delle Tartarughe Ninjia...

Non è ancora all'altezza....Soprattutto per farne un film per intero che non sia d'animazione.

Ghostbusters announcement at Comic Con

News from Wonder Con this weekend – yes, that’s why the net is so quiet – is that something “Ghostbusters” might be in the works from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Slashfilm.com has a jpeg of a flyer that was handed out at the convention which clearly states that a new “Ghostbusters” release is to be announced at Comic Con – in July.

The new “Ghostbusters” video game has been announced, so it’s not that. One can only assume Dan Aykroyd has convinced the powers-that-be to let him make his CGI “Ghosbusters 3” – something he’s been spruiking for a while now.

Guess we’ll find out come July?
