Winchester o Venice??
Ciao a tutti!!
Ho montato sabato la mia nuova scheda madre con un Athlon 64 3200+. Leggendo sul forum ho visto che si parlava del software Cpu-Z e ho deciso di fare una prova. Allora il problema è questo: il processore è stato acquistato come Winchester, ma Cpu-Z mi dice che è un Venice ed anche i set di istruzioni supportati sono quelli del Venice. Ora, tralasciando la soluzione di smontare il dissipatore semplicemente per togliersi una curiosità , la mia domanda è: è possibile che sia effettivamente un Venice? Sulla scatola del boxato c'era semplicemente un adesivo applicato che indicava Winchester... ma potrebbe essere un errore o no?? Grazie a tutti....

Vedi se cpu-z ti rileva le SS3 , che sono solo per il venice!

IMHO hai un Venice......
difficilemente cpu-z sbaglia + facile un errore di incompetenza di chi ha messo l'adesivo cmq forse hai il codice della scatola se box da quello dovresti risalire BYEZZZZZZZZZZ

beato te. a me era capitato che avevo acquistato un maxtor 120gb e mi hanno dato uno da 160gb
naturalmente pagato come un 120gb
