What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.6.87
[*] Based on the Catalyst 5.12 Official drivers.

[+] Added support for 2560x1600 and 1600x1024 resolutions.

Note:
I did a lot of testing to make sure the new installer works as intended, but it still may have some bugs, so if you find ANY problems with the new installer/uninstaller, please mail me and let me know.

Known Issues:
1) Some of the settings for both D3D & OGL will not be synchronized between ATT and the normal ATI CP, you must only use one of them to make changes, the best option is to use ATT since the ATI CP does not support changes to AI and in order to use the advanced D3D/OGL features. Changes made in ATT will work on games and such but the changes will not be reflected in the normal ATI CP since ATI stores the registry values that the CP reads separate from the actual values in the registry.

2) If ATT refuses to run because your card is "Not Supported", edit the "atitray.ini" located in the Omega Drivers>ATT installation folder and change "opt_disable_ovr=0" to "opt_disable_ovr=1", this will disable Overclocking, but the rest of ATT can be used normally.

Important Info:
Since these drivers include a non-standard version of ATT, I would recommend that if you have any previous version of ATT installed, please uninstall it before installing these drivers, not doing so may cause unknown problems.

What's new for ATI Tray Tools?
v1.0.4.780

[+] Added option in atitray.ini to enable old I2C control method. Used prior 750 build.

[+] Added option in atitray.ini to turn on OLD BIOS detection procedure

[+] Added support for F75363/F75363SG sensors

[+] Added new option to configure quality of Adaptive AA. You can select from two modes. Performance and Quality.

[+] Added new option to enable "High Quality AF". Enabling this feature may impact performance. This feature is not supported by all ATI graphics cards. (it seems only R5xx series can handle this feature)

[+] Added experimental support for Digital Flat Panels and Mobile LCD Panels.

[F] Fixed error when ATT tries to read clocks and unable to start if clocks equal 0 even if overclocking was disabled.

[F] Fixed error in Game Profile creating procedure when the game name contains ampersand chars

[F] Fixed bug with wrong BIOS detection procedure
[*] Redesigned Direct3D and OpenGL configuration dialog boxes
[*] Updated TV/Display module. Added experimental support for old Radeon boards (less than 9500)
[*] Improved ATT shared memory update procedure

Ho visto poco fa che sono usciti. Ho caricato ieri i Catalyst 5.12 non mi va di cambiare di nuovo

Qualcuno che li abbia provati per sapere se ci sono miglioramenti tangibili?

mi piace il nuovo wizard

sebbene abbia una 9500pro ho scelto la softmod per 9500, cosa che era descritta nel vecchio wizard

poi ho anche attivato il fast write e mo voglio vedere che succede

adesso paciocco un pò con ATT e li provo(+ che altro per vedere se nn c sono probs) un pò con need for speed most wanted

ualcuno con P4 HT ha notato qualche aumento con questi 5.12, visto che dovrebbero supportare dualcore e HT?

uhm..io ho un p4 HT...ma ho sempre miglioramenti con gli omega rispetto ai catalyst...

e che caxxu anche io ho messo giusto 3 giorni fa gli omega 5.11 (tra l'altro penando per 3 ore causa tema per Xp che nn mi faceva partire bene i prog...)

ci sono miglioramenti rispetto ai 5.11?? in termini di fps di quanto??

Mah io li ho provati ma non ho visto questa differenza sostanziale con i catalyst 'normali'...infatti son tornato ai 5.12

io ho messo on ed ho una 9500pro sulla quale avevo già testato la stabilità
Omega ha sempre detto che on o off non influisce sulle prestazioni

infatti sono basati sui normali catalyst
differenze esagerate non ce ne saranno mai

a me sono utili perchè hanno la softmod incorporata per ovecloccare la scheda, hanno ati tra tool incorporato ecc..

io invece di passare a 5.12 ufficiali ho messo direttamente questi, cmq rispetto ai 5.11 in Pes5 e The Suffering 2 vado un poco meglio (considerazione: la mia raddy come è una GT, cambia solo la dicitura e poco altro)

Gli Omega al massimo credo che diano aumenti di prestazioni di massimo 3-4 fps...(certo passare da 20 a 24 già è un bel passo....) e cmq sono molto stabili e nn hanno tutte quelle menate di Ati......inoltre credo siano modificati in qlcsa, nn per prestazioni ma per funzionalità....tipo .....e cchennesò........tipo un A.I. un pò + intelligente o qualsiasi altra cosa....

boh forse sparo cazzate!!
