5 nuovi driver "optimized"

Disponibili per il download direttamente dalla sezione download di Hardware Upgrade, dai link seguenti, 5 nuove versioni di driver optimized per schede video ATI Radeon e NVIDIA GeForce. Si tratta di versioni basate sulle release ufficiali e beta dei driver ATI Radeon e NVIDIA Forceware, ottimizzati in varie forme per migliorare prestazioni, qualità d'immagine e supporto a funzionalità di tweaking.

NGO ATI Optimized Driver

Driver ottimizzati basati sulla versione 5.4 dei driver ufficiali ATI Catalyst, per schede video ATI Radeon e sistemi operativi Windows 2000 e Windows XP.

Dhzer0point Catalyst 0.54 (beta)

Driver ottimizzati per schede video ATI, basati sulla revision 5.4 dei driver ATI Catalyst ufficiali. Di seguito le note fornite a corredo:

Included in the DHzer0point ATI release are two additional programs, Radclocker publicly available version. This version does not support the newer PCI/e boards so if you have one of those we're sorry however we are working with ChrisW to get an updated release with that support for our next release. Also included in the release is zackensaks Glidewrapper, a utility for using Glide, to play the older games they were meant to be played. Also included are, of course, the DHzer0point Game specific Enhancements for HL2, CSS, FarCry and Doom3.

Fastwrites are on by default unless you have them turned off in your BIOS. These drivers are built around quality, first, last and always; if you're going to bitch about your 3dmarks going down slightly don't bother. That said HL2 and CSS currently take a larger than normal performance hit, most notably on older cards, due to the increased quality in the set. We are working on resolving this issue. However this can be limited in great part simply by turning down AF and or AA one or 2 levels, if you're used to 8x AF try 4x.

Xtreme G 76.45 Beta

Driver beta per schede video NVIDIA GeForce, basati sui driver Forceware 76.45 beta. Da utilizzare con sistemi operativi Windows XP e Windows 2000, sono consigliati per schede basate su chip NVIDIA NV4x.

DNA-Force 1.4.7644

Driver ottimizzati basati sulla release 76.44 dei driver NVIDIA Forceware; da utilizzare con sistemi operativi Windows 2000 e Windows XP.
