The overclock success of the Tornado 2 MX makes the already low price appeal even more. One can not expect a GeForce2 MX card overclocked to it's limits to be on par with it's GTS counterpart. The main limiting factors such as the memory bandwidth (SDR instead of DDR) and rendering pipelines (down from 4 to 2) will forever hold the MX to a lower thresh hold. If it were not for these same limiting factors, there would not be a MX series of GeForce2. The performance of a stock MX card justifies it's price, but the enthusiasts want more. More you say? The overclock success is exactly what a low budget enthusiast/gamer should look for when considering a graphics card upgrade. This success is why the Tornado 2 MX still holds onto PCRoddin's Budget HotRod award
