GamePC ha pubblicato un interessante articolo nel quale vengono comparati diversi moduli di memoria PC133 SDRAM. Le marche prese in considerazione sono: Crucial, Corsair, EMS, Mushkin, e Infineon. Da notare come si siano dimostrati tutti di ottima qualità, essendo CAS2 (cioè in grado di utilizzare la frequenza di default di 133Mhz con latenza minima) tali memorie possiedono un maggior margine di overclock, rivelandosi stabili anche a 160Mhz. In raw overclocking performance, the 150 MHz Mushkin memory reigns supreme, not surprisingly. After all, it does have the fastest chips (6.6 ns vs. 7.5 ns) of any stick of memory we've tested, and comes at a "guaranteed" 150 MHz at CAS-2. Of course, the Mushkin chip is the newest stick we got to test, perhaps Infineon or Crucial will come out with 150 MHz compatible memory in the near future, but the outlook is bleak. From the looks of it, every major manufacturer is setting their sites on getting DDR memory ready for sale when the companion chipsets are released sometime this year.

Unfortunately, the Muskin stick is also the most expensive of the bunch, and frankly most people will never need memory speeds at that level. For most people, the Crucial and Infineon PC-133 memory both are incredibly nice sticks of memory, and both can easily do 133 MHz at 2-2-2 timings, which is the pinnacle of 133 MHz FSB performance.
