mandrake10 + promise fasttrak100 pci raid0 ata100

salve!
sto tentando di installare per la 1a volta linux su un raid0 con 2 dischi ata100 ( mi piacciono le cose semplici

)
il ctrl e' un promise fasttrak100 pci
i drv sul sito promise sono solo per la versione 9..

ho tentato ugualmente di installarlo seguendo le istruzioni su txt

Start the Mandrake Linux installation with CD-ROM booting.

2.) At the Mandrake Linux installation screen appear, Press F1.

3.) Append parameters (see Note 1 below) at the "boot:" prompt,
then press the Enter key.

4.) When "If you want to insert third-party kernel modules?"
message appear, Please select "No" to continue install.

5.) Press Ctrl-Alt-F2 at language selection menu, insert the
FastTrak Driver Disk in the floppy drive.

6.) Issue following commands to load FastTrak module, Because
Mandrake linux not initial floppy device at startup.
# modprobe floppy
# mkdir /floppy
# mount -t ext2 /dev/fd0 /floppy (Extract from linux)
or mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /floppy (Extract from Windows)
# cd /floppy
# sh floppy.fix
# cd /
# umount /floppy

7.) Then Press Ctrl-Alt-F7 and proceed with the install.

8.) When installation at "Install bootloader" menu, click "Advanced"
button then click "OK" button. If you have multi-boot items, please
select each ertries then click "Modify" button, append kernel
parameters at Append field.
(see NOTE 2 below)

9.) Push "OK" button then push "Done" botton. Continue to proceed with
the install.

il tutto funziona fino punto 7
infatti mi dice preinstalling promise.. ecc ecc..

rientrando poi nell'installazione grafica con un alt+ctrl+f7 e andando avanti, l'installazione non mi vede il raid0 ma vede solo 2 dischi e vuole cancellare tutto quanto pure il raid.

come faccio a risolvere ?

Non funzionerà mai.

La tua speranza è che funzioni il modulo pdcraid.

ricorda che stai parlando in giapponese ad un tunisino..

Fai tutto fino al punto 5, poi invece di inserire il floppy esegui semplicemente
modprobe pdcraid
Se non vengono riportati errori, torna nell'installer con ctrl+alt+f7 e prega che sia cambiato qualcosa...
