Notebook con windows 10.

Salve, premesso che non conosco per nulla widows10 quindi potrei fare una domanda del tutto stupida e inutile, vorrei capire come mai su un notebook nuovo su cui è installato windows 10 quando cerco alcune utility me le elenca con scritto tra parentesi windows 7 (per esempio, ma non solo in quella, l'utility di backup) qualcuno potrebbe spiegarmi cosa significa? Ho cercato informazioni qui e in giro nella reta, ma non ho trovato nulla, grazie.
