Snow Leopard e Batteria !!!
Ragazzi ho un serio problema !!!
ieri sera ho installato SL sul mio macbook (facendo una installazione pulita) !!! bene oggi accendo il computer con carica della batteria a 100% e neanche in 20 minuti è scesa del 17% !!!  tra l'altro mi scrive che la carica rimanente è di 1h e 29 quando con la stessa % con Leopard mi scriveva 2h e 50 !!! tra l'altro la ventola sembra impazzita e io sto usando il computer solamente x navigare !!!  cosa sta succedendo ??? c'è un rimedio ?? qlc un altro è nella mia stessa condizione ???

controlla che sta facendo il processore, su activity monitor o altro.
probabilmente spotlight, qualche demone, (sdm, backupd..) o anche firefox (a me a volte succede -- sporadicamente, per via di temi/addon idioti) sta ciucciando risorse a manetta. a me con SL la batteria sembra durare forse qualcosa in più, una 20ina di minuti direi, che su leopard

in Monitoraggio Attività c'è un certo Quick Look Helper che a % CPU c'è scritto 194.1 !
è qst cha sta facendo girare all'impazzata le ventole e mi sta finendo la batteria ?? (gli unici programmi che ho installato su SL sono il nuovo flash player e cache out x con autoclean al login ) p.s. uso safari quindi firefox non può essere !!! allora è quel processo sicuramente !!! vi spiego...
ho fatto uscita forzata e dopo poco le ventole hanno smesso di girare e la batteria mi scriveva 3 ore e nn più un ora !!! il problema adesso è che ogni volta che riavvio all'inzio è tutto apposto, QuickLook Helper usa 0.1 %, ma dopo pochi minuti ricomincia a usare il 190 % di CPU facendo girare a manetta le ventole e succhiandomi la batteria in pochi minuti !!! cosa devo fare ???

posso pure attaccare il mac alla corrente ma qll processo non smetterà mai se non faccio uscita forzata !! e poi mi si ripresenta dopo ogni riaccensione del computer....

ho notato anche che dopo qlc riavvio la scrivania mi perde lo sfondo che avevo messo da una immagine che stava in una pen drive e mette qll di default !!!
mi sa che devo reinstallare snow vero ???? è possibile reinstallarlo inizianizzandolo di nuovo con il dvd dell'upgrade ??? |

visto che il mac è inutilizzabile x il momento lo sto formattando e riprovo a metterci SL !!!
speriamo che così si risolva il problema !!  appena installato SL lo testerò...vi farò sapere se si dovesse ripresentare il problema ! cmq intanto grazie x l'aiuto

E' un fatto davvero curioso...
Premetto che sono un nuovo utente MAC e quindi devo ancora imparare molte cose, ma la cosa che ho subito notato ,dopo l'upgrade a SL è che la durata della batteria si è notevolmente abbassata. Prima dell'aggiornamento l'indicatore (a batteria carica) appena acceso mi segnalava circa 6 ore. Stamattina me ne segnalava solo 3,15  . In entrambe le situazioni ero solo connesso ad internet senza fare altro. Come si spiega questa cosa?

cerca di guardare + che l'indicatore il vero effettivo consumo di batteria !!
io con quel processo attivo di cui ho parlato sopra vedevo la % scendere inesorabilmente ogni minuto !! una carica completa mi sarebbe durata si e no un'oretta !!! controlla bene con monitoraggio attività se c'è qlc processo che succhia la CPU...altrimenti è tutto regolare !!! |

Io aggiornato Leopard senza piallare sul MBP e ho notato un incremento dell'autonomia, seppur limitato

considerando che Osx deve girare su hardware che Apple stessa sceglie ed inserisce nei suoi Notebook ( quindi non si hanno casi di Mix dei piu' disparati sulla componentistica interna e driver ) quindi i driver su cui Apple lavora per l'ACPI o cosa simile sulle sue macchine sono i circa soliti 10 (sui Notebook moderni Intel ) sinceramente non riesco a capire come sia possibile che ad alcuni la batteria dura meno di prima e ad altri duri di piu' di prima una volta installato Osx 10.6

La gestione della batteria non avviene solamente tramite ACPI e i suoi driver, ma anche attraverso i parametri memorizzati nella Pram e nVram, che gestiscono il controller della batteria. Spesso basta fare un reset di queste ram per ritornare alla normalità; anche se, mi pare, che qui il problema sia dovuto ad un processo " fuori controllo " di quicklook, e che non c'entra nulla con la gestione ACPI del Mac.

volevo aggiornavi constatando che dopo 2 giorni dalla reinstallazione di SL tutto sembra funzionare x dovere !!!
quindi niente + processi impazziti...soprattutto quel Quick Look Helper non sembra dare + problemi !!! speriamo di aver risolto...
