E' il masterizzatore DVD o la MB?

Da un paio di mesi, in maniera random, il PC si avvia senza riconoscere correttamente tra le periferiche in masterizzatore DVD Pioneer DVR 109, aggiornato con il firmware 1.58.

Se faccio girare INFOTOOL di Nero ottengo il report seguente:

La motherboard non riconosce bene il device che da bios è impostato correttamente

Mi si sta sputtanando il controller? Ho una ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe con l'ultimo bios emesso.
A nessuno è mai capitato qualcosa di simile?
