thread moto interessante. Esiste una guida o delle immagini di configurazione del dispositivo? È abilitata l'opzione 5GHz ed inoltre è ottimizzato per utilizzare 3 antenne in modo da ottenere 450Mbit di bandwidth nominale? Grazie.

il fatto che le 3 antenne non siano impiegate è stato trattato? 802.11n cmq sembra essere limitato ai 300Mbit/s quindi dubito potrebbe essere incrementata la banda ai 450Mbit/s nominali. NElla versione v3 esiste la possibilità di impiegare firmware openwrt?

il v3 è Broadcom bcm6361, quindi ci fosse un porting, non funzionerebbe comunque la parte dsl.

Con una scheda da 450Mbit io sono connesso al TP-W8970 v1 a 450Mbit quindi si funziona a patto di avere una scheda di rete compatibile

ok grazie e sei connesso in banda 2.4Ghz o 5Ghz? Inoltre come se la cava con il WDS? Se si volesse tornare al firmware ufficiale è sempre possibile? sono reperibili immagini delle pagine di configurazione?

Se connesso alla rete wifi a 2,4 ghz gli speed-test in internet non superano mai i 40 Mbit circa, anche se i dispositivi sono agganciati al wifi a velocità molto superiori. Se connesso alla 5 Ghz ottengo circa 110 mbit. In passato ho provato a fare dei test con Iperf, ho ottenuto valori superiori a questi, ma probabilmente i test non li ho fatti proprio correttamente e non credo siano molto attendibili |

Ciao, ho appena fatto qualche test con il W8970v1, che sto utilizzando come (ottimo) AP; settato a 40Mhz, con il NB di mia figlia raggiunge i 95/97Mbps, che è il limite della mia connessione. Ricordo che, quando avevo la 200Mega, raggiungeva 106/110Mbps. Però..... sbaglio o il limite della WAN è di 100 circa?

è da un paio di giorni che, inspiegabilmente, la connessione internet si disconnette.
