adsl failover 3g backup
Ragazzi ho visto che non è stata data risposta ad un quesito importantissimo per me. Il router gestisce AUTOMATICAMENTE in caso di mancanza di linea adsl il passaggio alla linea UMTS e viceversa? Nel manuale della funzione 3g non v'è traccia!!

configurazione per Fastweb ULL?
Ciao a tutti, sono appena passato a Fastweb e nonostante loro mandino il loro modem/router, per questioni di qualità wifi vorrei continuare a usare questo.
Ho letto molti commenti in giro sulla (presunta) difficoltà di usare modem/router non Fastweb, qualcuno di voi usa il DSL-N12U con successo? In caso positivo, come lo ha configurato? |

ho smanettato un po', e la configurazione del DSL-N12U (B1 e non B1) con ultimo firmware 1.0.4.9 è la seguente:
Poi abilitate il DHCP e collegare il wireless normalmente. Tralasciate la procedura QIS (Quick Internet Setup) perchè benchè si possa selezionare ITALIA>Fastweb la configurazione proposta non funziona. Spero che sia stato utile a qualche altro nuovo utente Fastweb in ULL |

Source code per il firmware 1.0.4.9 - miglioramenti di terze parti?
ciao ragazzi, un po' per caso sono capitato oggi sulla pagina di download del firmware 1.0.4.9. e ho notato che Asus rilascia il source code.
Siete per caso a conoscenza di firmware modificati, magari per poter finalmente permettere l'uso della porta usb per lo storage e/o aumento del numero di stampanti supportate? |

quoto lucifaro, cmq prima potresti provare a spegnere il router e non riaccenderlo prima di una mezz'oretta.
In teoria quando lo riaccendi negozierà con la centrale la massima velocità disponibile, per poi magari abbassarla (soprattutto nel caso tu abbia attivato l'opzione "SRA" in AMMINISTRAZIONE > IMPOSTAZIONE DSL). Grazie lucifaro e mtto, cmq oggi avevo spento il modem router xk la connessione si era interrotta, e lo accesso dopo 2 min. ed la velocità e aumentata da 7 ai 12 mb, che prima con i download andava con i 800 kb, adesso 1.5 mb al secondo,
mtto - l'opzione SRA(Seamless Rate Adaptation) era attiva da quando ho comprato il modem, ho controllato adesso, spero che rimane questa velocità ![]() |

nessun provider italiano utilizza l'sra e attivarlo lato router se non abilitato nel dslam può portare a funzionamenti anomali della linea ( testato )

Grazie Totix, in effetti ho disabilitato l'SRA e non è cambiato nulla, la linea rimane piantata sui seguenti valori: secondo voi sono accettabili?
Con Infostrada ottenevo esattamente la stessa velocità ma con un SNR decisamente più basso, diciamo attorno ai 6db. Ora ce ne sono ben 12.4db, pensate che abbassando questo valore la velocità possa aumentare? E se si, mi conviene chiedere a FW di farlo, oppure provare a modificare il "Stability Adjustment" in AMMINISTRAZIONE > IMPOSTAZIONE DSL? Codice:
