Il Ping soffre di maggiore instabilità via wirless, ovviamente la perdita dei pacchetti si giustificherebbe solo con un guasto/incompatibilità. Altro discorso: Poi per velocità così alte per verificare la corretta velocità non usare speedtest ma metti 3 iso a scaricare da debian fastweb e usa il misuratore banda del mac (istat pro o utility network) |

wifi...
questo problema ce l'ho sia con il techinicolor che con il router n300 on networks. Il mio retina non ha l'attacco ethernet...devo comprarmi per forza l'adattatore?? sarà un problema di wifi o di rete? ![]() devo per forza comprarmi un bel airport così da migliorare la comunicazione con il mio mac e la rete? |

Sarà che io odio la wifi , ho tutta la casa cablata con cat. 6A , utilizzo attualmente switch da 1Gbe in attesa di passare al 10Gbe , trasferimenti effettivi a 1Gbe (130 MB/s) non come le wifi 750 che poi a malapena raggiungo i 200 Mbps (25 MB/s)

Come avrai notato infatti, la velocità del wifi difficilmente sarà mai superiore a 150mbit/s (con 60-65mbit/s reali), proprio perché l'ap non può usare il channel bonding, necessario per ottenere velocità superiori ai 150mbit/s. Perciò passando ad un router N 5GHz, o ancora meglio 802.11ac avrai molti canali liberi in più, in quanto sono sia superiori in numero (alcune decine, mi pare, contro i 3-4 non sovrapposti dei 2.4GHz), sia perché la banda a 5GHz è molto meno affollata, e questo ti consentirà di avere la massima velocità consentita dallo standard (300mbit/s nel caso dell'802.11n, con circa 100-120mbit/s reali). |
