Cambiare chipset
E' possibile cambiare chipset in un portatile??? (compaq presario con un SiS648 terribile)
Sono nella sezione giusta?? Ero un po' indeciso....

il chipset è saldato sulla scheda elettronica del portatile e non esiste nessun "socket" o slot per cambiare il northbridge o il southbridge del chipset, che sono da considerarsi i componenti più cruciali e "rappresentativi" della scheda madre stessa : cioè dovresti cambiare la scheda , e non essendo questa aderente a uno standard costruttivo quale l' atx nel mondo desktop, mi sa che dovresti cambiare portatile...
