Consigliabile non so; considera che dipende da quali app hai installato, sul nas dell'ufficio non ho nessuna versione di PHP in quello a casa una è legata a photo station l'altra no, l'unica app esterna a Synology che ho è Plex ed ha continuato a funzionare come un orologio.
Più di riportare la mia esperienza diretta altro non mi senti di scrivere

Oggi il mio Syno mi ha fatto un brutto scherzo : non caricava la pagina per il login... spento e riacceso e funziona tutto.. boh

L'ho hai connesso tramite uno switch? Io proverei prima a testare la connessione fisica della lan. Alle cartelle condivise accedi ?

era da un po' che non mi loggavo con root via ssh... oggi ci ho provato ma visto che ho attivato il 2 factor authentication non mi prende più la password... come devo fare per accedere tramite root con mfa abilitato?

PS: mi serve per resettare il file /usr/syno/etc/usbno_guid.map visto che mi sta mappando in modo non corretto l'hard disk che uso per il backup locale

PPS: trovato un modo alternativo:
SSH/Telnet supporta solo l'accesso nel sistema con account appartenenti al gruppo administrators. Per passare a un account root, accedere al sistema con SSH/Telnet come utente appartenente al gruppo administrators, eseguire il comando sudo -i e inserire la password dell'account usato per accedere.

ho un DS216 Play che teoricamente tra le specifiche c'è scritto che digerisce perfettamente H265 in pratica però quando uso l'app per smart TV DS video dalla tv mi restituisce "formato non supportato" quindi non c'è modo di vedere H265 su tv H264 con questo dispositivo?

No.

Il programma di deframmentazione del disco viene utilizzato principalmente per i file system FAT. Poiché la velocità di lettura dei file diminuisce dopo che il sistema FAT è stato utilizzato per un certo periodo di tempo, è necessario eseguire il programma di deframmentazione per riorganizzare i dati, aumentando così la velocità di lettura dei file.
Non è necessario deframmentare il disco rigido interno del prodotto Synology perché quest'ultimo utilizza il file system EXT4, che prevede la migliore organizzazione nell'assegnazione dei file.
