Sì che puoi farlo... però sappi che all'ampli mandi un segnale STEREO (L+R) perdendo qualsiasi codifica nativa multicanale

Ieri sono andato in negozio ad acquistarlo.
Non ho altri apparecchi da mettere a confronto.
Però a prima impressione devo dire che va molto bene.
In 10 minuti l'ho montato, si è sistemato la rete da solo, e è molto svelto.
A parte quando si accende che è un po lento, ma poi va bene.
Anche i video pensavo che essendo sul pc e dovendo fare alcuni passaggi fossero lenti e invece vanno a X16 che è un piacere.

ho un problema bello grosso: con il router wag320n nuovo non riesco a vedere niente in streaming con il wdtv live.. ho visto che la velocità di trasferimento è di circa 700KB/s, un pò troppo poco direi dato che von il vecchio dlink di 6 anni fa riuscivo a vedere tutto (tanne i files oltre i 15gb), e questo dovrebbe essere wireless n.. che faccio?

polv è la 3° volta che leggo la tua domanda sul tuo cartone animato... sarà meglio che giri la tua domanda nell'editing video... di sicuro non è comlpa del wd, ma del file che è stato rippato male..

di sicuro avrai esempio il video a 23,96 fps e l'audio jappo a 25 fps..è per quello che più vai avanti nel video, più l'audio è asincrono.. di più non sò aiutarti.

ok, chiederò da qualche altra parte..comunque, è il wd..perchè sul pc il filmato va benissimo sia in lingua ita che in lingua jap..mentre sul wd la lingua ita non funziona..

col fw moddato riesci a vedere tutti i video di youtube...

credi sia possibile che alcuni video di youtube riportino ancora la dicitura "non ci sono i diritti per i lettori collegati al tv"?
ieri mattina ho provato a vedere alcuni video di un gruppo musicale,con fw 1.03.49,e mi continuava a dare quella risposta.
devo precisare che avevo già tentato di mandare in play quei video parecchi mesi fa (stesso esito) sia con fw orig che mod, e che ieri mattina, dopo la nuova moddata, ho ritentato,usando la lista delle ricerche già effettuate.

ps: ho notato che lo fa spesso sui video che riportano la didascalia "official video"; ad es "Fabri Fibra - Tranne te"

qualche idea?

I firmware sono specifici per modello.
Quello che va bene per WDTV Live non va bene per il Plus e viceversa.

Ieri ho notato una stranezza con file m2ts di diverse videocamere sony.
In pratica mandando il file in play parte il video ma non l'audio. Questo per circa 5 secondi. Poi il video si ferma e comincia l'audio. Fino a quando non arriva la punto del video fermo. Dopo di che proseguono insieme.
La cosa strana e' che quando c'e solo il video, se premo pausa, il video non si ferma
Che cavolo sta succedendo?
Succede solo con questi file, con gli mkv nessun problema.

Ciò perchè semplicemente, ad ora, non esiste modo di vedere nulla in streaming da internet neppure tramite PC se non con le applicazioni ufficiali inserite nel FW da WD (youtube, FB, flickr, Mediafly, ecc....)

Io non ho ancora provato, ma lo streaming dovrebbe funzionare (tramite vlc), seguendo il punto "Come configurare VLC affinchè mandi l'output vs il WD TV Live" della seguente guida:
