Hi. You can try to set the command rate from 1T to 2T. I had same your problem and i have resolved in this mode.
Now i am at 260x10 (FSB : DDR=1:1) 2T with 4x512mb each ( 2 kit ) of TCCD Chip's.

I think that the "clock skew" is the factor that permit to set the interaction clock between the two channel memory system but for more information you can do a question to Nvidiamen . I hope that you have understood my "English".

my ram made for the 1T no 2T et i use only two sticks.
2T is for the bad ram or when used 4 sticks.
2T is slow performance

First of all:
Are you sure to have TCCD chips certified to 1T by G.Skill? There are two TCCD models realized by G.Skill:
1) F1-4800DSU2-1GBFF certified DDR600 to 1T (silver color);
2) F1-4800DSU2-1GBFR certified DDR600 to 2T (yellow color).
Above 260-280mhz verified to set in your bios:
- ddr strenght data: 45% reduced
In the first page (of this thread) there's the correct configuration for F1-4800DSU2-1GBFF modules.

ADVANCED SETTING SKEW CONFIGURATION (A8R32-MVP only)
To verify the real limit of your DDR and to synchronize the modules you follow these steps:

STEP 1
1a) Setup (temporarily) in all steps of this test a low CPU multiplier (5x) for don't influence the calibrations;
1b) Plug in (in the blue slot DIMM-A1: first channel A), only one memory module;
1c) Set up the timings by SPD for value modules. While in the respecting of the product specifications (or testing in review on-line) for high-quality modules;
1d) Above 260-270mhz I advise to increase:
- Read Preamble value to 6ns;
- Async Latency value to 8ns.
Moreover:
- DDR strenght data on: "45% reduced"
- CMD-ADDR: 1T (4800DSU2-1GBFF) or 2T (4800DSU2-1GBFR);
1e) Leave to work the DDR in syncro (Memclock mode: limit 200mhz) and increase (steps of 1-2mhz) the DDR frequency (modifying the CPU frequency) remembering to increase the voltage (advised by G.Skill for that frequency);
1f) When the module will manifest stability problem (through memtest application) modify the AI Clock skew for channel A parameter anticipating (Advance) or delaying (Delay) the clock signal (increasing or diminishing the ps values) until the attainment of the stability for that particular value of frequency; in this phase of calibration is fundamental not to modify neither the voltage neither the timings of the memory.

STEP 2
After to have taken apart the module of memory tried to STEP 1, is necessary to repeat the same passages (from 1a to 1f leaving the memory voltage established in the step 1e) mounting, alone, the second module in the blue slot DIMM-B1 (it's the second channel: b) and determining the other value of skew for this other channel.

STEP 3
After to have determined the optimal values of skew will be possible to mount both modules with the correct skew parameter. In this way you are sure to have synchronized the channels and established the operating frequency limit of the system in dual channel configuration, equivalent to the value of frequency more low obtained in the two tests reduced of 5mhz. Consequently if the maximum value of frequency in the test to Step 1 were of 308mhz and that one in according to test to Step 2 was of 306mhz, the value to use (for full stability) in dual channel configuration will be of 301mhz.


The standard Skew configuration for TCCD modules is:
- Delay 150ps (or normal) for the first channel (A);
- Advance 300ps for the second channel (B).

Try at 8x275mzh for being sure that the problem are the DDR and not a limit of the memory controller into your cpu...
This is the DDR600 (and not the DDR550) bios configuration advised by G.Skil with DFI motherboard....
At 2.5-3-3-6 (DDR550) you increase the TRWT value by one unit (above the default value by SPD).

PS: what bios do you have now? I hope the 404 release... The 502 seems to be more capricious in overclock...

Con questi tipi di moduli ho avuto problemi anche con la A8N-VM CSM ma a DEFAULT!!!
Prova a farti prestare per qualche ora due diversi moduli di memoria e ritestare il sistema in oc...

Al momento purtroppo non ho nessuno qui intorno che possa prestarmi 2 moduli di ram, infatti stavo tenendo d'occhio il mercatino nel caso qualcuno offrisse qualcosa di buono (o magari qualcuno che svenda la sua a8R32 )
Solo che non rammento mai quali sono i migliori chip di ram :|

Beh cmq allo stato attuale un crossfire con 2 X850 è più che sifficiente per giocare con qualsiasi titolo in commercio e penso anche quello futuro.La storia del DRM è molto ambigua e penso che creerà molti problemi.Anche perchè non è molto carino che qualcun'altro decida quello che devi fare girare o non sulla propria macchina.Anche perchè con gli attuali costi dei titoli come giochi e film,diventa difficilmente sostenibile condurre una preferenza per la multimedialità sui PC.Se pensiamo che un Film in DVD costa sui 30€ e un gioco anche oltre i 50€ ,nel giro di poco tempo l'utilizzo del computer vedrà moltiplicarsi il il suo costo.

I have the same problems.
I try coeff 8, no good.
I increase the TRWT to 4, nothing change.

I have G.Skill ram myself (though mine are 2 sticks x 1 GB,ZX series) with cold and warm boot issues.Apparently no configuration seems to work;about ram i tried almost everything:CAS 2-2,5-3 with either aggressive or loose timings and settings.I think this mobo doesn't manage very well memories from gskill brand or at least some series;it's just my noob opinion ,though someway strengthened by a gskill technician here.Anyway I'm waiting for a new bios release from Asus and see what happens...

Ciao a tutti...vorrei provare a fare un pò di overclock...il mio sistema regge con tutto a default fino a 215-216mhz*10 di frequenza...non toccando nessun voltaggio nè abbassando valori di CAS etc...dopo questo valore inizia a non avviarsi più... per spingermi un pò più in là... come devo fare??? cosa devo cambiare?? GRAZIE MILLE A TUTTI

Ehm... c'e un po di confusione qui eh

Innanzitutto hai effettuato l'operazione dell'immissione manuale dei parametri nel settore "ram"?
Hai impostato su "limit" il check?
Questo e' il minimo per poter cominciare con l'oc.
Ti riporto dalla prima pagina:

Sia la A8R-MVP che la A8R32-MVP Deluxe, (rispettivamente con i bios 0503 e 0502) non riescono a riavviarsi se impostate "fuori specifica" (innalzamento del valore di "cpu frequency" oltre i 200mhz) lasciando in auto i valori dei timings di memoria.
Chiunque si appresti ad overcloccare (nella successiva fase 2) il CPU Frequency oltre i 200mhz, prima di farlo in questa prima fase entri nel bios (Advanced -> Cpu Frequency -> Memory Configuration) a verificare (lasciando impostata in "auto" la voce "Memclock mode") i valori letti attraverso il chip SPD dei moduli da parte della motherboard. Appuntarseli tutti (CAS, TRCD, TRAS, TRP, TRRD, TRC, TRFC). Infatti in overclock la motherboard (pur avendo impostato, come visto nell'operazione precedentemente descritta, alla voce "limit" settaggi tali che riportino la ram a lavorare a 200mhz) non riesce a leggere correttamente tali impostazioni e fallisce addirittura il post iniziale (il pc non si avvia). Il consiglio è dunque quello di immettere sotto le voci di "MCT Timing Mode" (da impostare su "Manual") tutti i valori appuntati in precedenza.

E ancora

Settaggio del moltiplicatore delle memorie
Questo è il primo parametro da modificare nelle motherboard A8R in caso di overclock. In overclock occorre diminuire il moltiplicatore delle memorie per limitare i mhz aggiunti attraverso la variazione del CPU frequency che verrà però eseguito nella successiva fase 2. Per far ciò le A8R dispongono di una voce che "purtroppo" è espressa in mhz e si riferisce al sistema non overcloccato. Riferirsi nel bios a:

ADVANCED -> CPU CONFIGURATION -> MEMORY CONFIGURATION -> MEMORY TIMING CONFIGURATION -> MEMCLOCK MODE -> Limit (valore espresso in mhz)

Poi magari proseguiamo con il resto.

Ok... is important to verify the single condition of two modules...
then you must test separately two modules ...
Plug in it in the first module only and in the first slot and set your ram to 275mhz and 2.5-3-3-6 (2.8v and all other parameters). Verify if it does the same problem.
After, you test the second module (always in the first channel) with same values in the bios.
