Sì sì infatti faccio così, ma incasina il layout del forum usando lo zoom

Clicca sul tasto "fit to width", in questo modo il browser cerca di mantenere fisso il layout anche quando fa lo zoom. Non funziona sempre, ma tenar non nuoce.

Che versione usate? Io sono con la 10.61, ma mi attira molto la 10.70(vorrei aiutare nello sviluppo, via segnalazioni e feedback). Voi che dite? E' ancora troppo instabile o si può usare?

Uff, mi vengono le domande a scoppio ritardato, scusate.

Se installo la 10.70 sopra la 10.61 non succede nulla, usano le stesse cartelle vero? E poi, dopo che ho installato la beta, quale ramo d'aggiornamento automatico segue? Solo le beta o quando esce la pubblica torna sulla pubblica?

Faccio tutte queste domande perchè vengo da FireFox che con le beta è un po' capriccioso.

personalmente proprio in questo periodo di ri-numerazione delle build sconsiglio le beta. vi spiego: avevo installato la 10.70 che poi per qualche strano motivo ha smesso di funzionare bene (qualche bug fastidioso è sopportabile, ma continui crash inspiegati... non lo sono!) e quindi ho provato a buttarci sopra una 10.62 RC2... ovviamente l'aggiornamento non è andato a buon fine e morale della favola ho dovuto fare una clean install della 10.61 stabile (sia benedetto Opera Link!) quindi per adesso aspettiamo di vedere come saranno sistemati i numeri di build (credo che con l'arrivo della 10.62 stabile il progetto 10.70 sarà ripreso e quindi sviluppato come seguito di quest'ultima build) e nel frattempo teniamoci la 10.61 (che tra l'altro funziona in modo DIVINO, ovviamente )

Infatti è questo il reale motivo che mi ferma dal fare il salto alla 10.70, non vorrei ritrovarmi a rimettere tutto da capo. Ho fatto i backup, però..

io sia su linux che su windows sto usando la 10.70, e mi trovo moolto bene. è di una velocità pazzesca, solo firefox beta 4 ci va dietro... e mi trovo benissimo. i crash li ho avuti, ma sporadici, e non sono riuscito a riprodurli. per ora me le tengo per benino. se non riuscite ad installare la 10.70, dovete eliminare prima il setup della 10.x, e poi mettere la 10.70. tanto ci pensa opera link a ripristinare i fari segnalibri e quant'altro.

Come si fa per rendere opaco del tutto (o comunque come modificare la trasparenza) lo sfondo della finestra che si apre quando si preme "control + tab" ?

è da un po' che non provo versioni beta, ma ricordo che si poteva benissimo installare due versioni diverse separate e distinte.

Ho rotto gli indugi e l'ho installata!

Si installa sopra la 10.61, poiché risiede nelle stesse cartelle. Si mantengono tutte le preferenze, è in italiano e sembra essere un pizzico più veloce(anche se non moltissimo).

Con l'ultima 10.70 se usate M2 l'unica skin compatibile è quella originale.
Per il resto sembra andare molto bene, anche il consumo di RAM sembra diminuito, ma devo verificare dopo una giornata di utilizzo.

tutte le versioni beta delle major-release solitamente sono molto veloci e usano poca ram. poi l'ufficiale inesorabilmente peggiora...

non ho capito se è l'ultima build, o l'uso di kde 4, ma adesso c'ho uno scrolling delle pagine supersonico, più veloce di firefox 4, una cosa incredibile...

Scusate, magari è stato già detto: uso Opera 10.62 e quando vado su www.google.it, nonostante effettui il log-in, non vedo nè la scritta in basso a sinistra per modificare l'immagine di sfondo nè usufruisco della nuova funzione, implementata oggi, che prevede la visualizzazione immediata dei risultati man mano che si digita. Con FF 3.6.9 funzionano entrambe le cose.
Qualcuno ha idea di che problemi siano?

Io ieri mi trovavo per caso a provare Opera (uso Firefox come predefinito) ed ho notato questa cosa. Ho fatto qualche ricerca per vedere cosa veniva fuori e sono finito su Twitter, c'è ovviamente una miriade di utenti che ha lamentato questa cosa ...
Si diceva di mascherare Opera da Firefox con l'apposita opzione, ed in effetti ieri funzionava, ma sto riprovando adesso e sembra non andare.
