Ma... Ti dico la verità... Prima succedeva anche a me... E quindi con il binomio torrente-stalla si riuscivano bene o male a tappare tutti i buchi... Ora, a mio avviso, sembra che la situazione sia a senso unico, in quanto, per il materiale che vado cercando... Il torrente è più fornito... Molto probabilmente dipenderà anche dal tipo di ricerche effettuate... Cmq diciamo che stò notando questo comportamento sopra citato in linea di massima...

Io con i 5 server disponibili ( 2 usenext 1 Saugstube 2 razoback ) + KAD riesco ad avere una connessione costante ed a trovare tutti i file che mi interessano, logicamente la ricerca in Kad mi risulta leggermente più difficoltosa, visto la quantità industriale di FaKe, ma del resto non mi lamento... non sono i 5 minuti in più per effettuare la ricerca di un file che mi ferma....

Sono andato anche ad 1.6Mb/sec su un singolo file potevo vedermelo in streaming con tutta calma, praticamente
Però Emule l'ho ripreso ad usare solo da quando ho messo fastweb, prima lo odiavo con tutto il cuore: giorni e giorni per scaricare qualunque cosa a 10-15kb/sec, sempre se partivi, quando col torrent parti praticamente subito a manetta

io ho sempre usato la versione ufficiale e non ho mai avuto problemi... anche con la velocità dei download.

dici che avrò dei vantaggi con qualche mod tipo la morptx o questa "punitiva"

di solito le mod hanno anche la grafica diversa ed opzioni varie, questa come grafica è la stessa della ufficiale!

Ecco cosa dice il programmatore in merito al sistema punitivo!

Aggiungo solo la parte mancante riguardo al sistema di crediti punitivo.
Questo CS (Credit System) è in verità un non-CS.
Non dà bonus a nessuno (neanche a un client che ti ha dato 2 GB e tu non gli hai ancora uppato niente). Viceversa penalizza client a cui hai uppato più di 4 chunk (~40MB) di quanti questi ne abbia uppati a te.
La penalizzazione non è lineare (segue andamento iperbolico) ma comunque progressiva: più è grande la differenza (non il rapporto come in altri CS) tra la quantità di dati uppati e quelli ricevuti, minore sarà il rating associato a quel particolare client. La penalizzazione consiste dunque in una riduzione dello score che comporta semplicemente un tempo di attesa più lungo nella coda per il client "colpito" da questa "sciagura". La penalizzazione non raggiunge mai valore 0 (un client particolarmente paziente può sempre ottenere qualcosa da noi). Il client riacquista "rating" man mano che riesce a ridurre il gap e si riporta ad un punteggio pari a 1 (il massimo ottenibile) quando riduce la differenza U sotto la soglia dei 40MB (a suo favore).

Questo sistema ha dei vantaggi rispetto a molti altri CS, in primis che non soffre il credit shaping (tecnica dffusa per ottenere il massimo download minimizzando l'upload "disperso" verso fonti ritenute non utili), non fa credit shaping, quando usato da entrambi i client in gioco tende a raggiungere in maniera automatica la stabilità nel tempo (mentre i sistemi con promozioni a client generosi devono in qualche modo essere limitati o degenerano), è semplicissimo da calcolare (niente radici quadrate, elevamenti a potenze, logaritmi o robe del genere... richiede solo una sottrazione e una divisione).
In parole povere è un miglioramento (o tentativo) verso la situazione di non-CS assoluta che ho usato per parecchio tempo non gradendo il comportamento del sistema dei crediti introdotto nella versione ufficiale.

per dirne una, il powershare, e moltissime funzioni riguardanti il powershare. Poi c'è la possibilità di utilizzare diversi tipi di conteggio dei crediti, ci sono moltissime funzioni avanzate riguardanti l'upload, riguardanti il reperimento delle fonti, come la funzionalità A4AF, che permette di dirottare le fonti da un file all'altro e di memorizzare le fonti, cosi alla prossima connessione le fonti vengono automaticamente dirottate verso il file prescelto
