allora sto valutando l'acquisto di un toshiba, l' a20-s103, l'incognita è la vga, che è marchiata come
trident cyber aladdin p4 32ddr nessuno mi sa dare info su questa vga? a me interessa sapere a quale ati o nvidia è paragonabile....

il portatile ha ottime caratteristiche di base ( la RAM però è da portare a 512) ma non conosco questa scheda e in rete ho trovato soltanto questo: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ALi, Trident announce CyberAlladin-P4 notebook integrated chipset for 2Q release News | Brandon Hill on Feb 27th, 2002 7:39 AM from DigiTimes DigiTimes has announced their CyberAlladin-P4 mobile chipset which will feature DDR333 support and an AGP4x interface: Chipset designer Acer Laboratories (ALi) and graphics chip maker Trident Microsystems on February 26 introduced their co-developed notebook integrated chipset, the CyberAladdin-P4. Volume production of the chipset is expected to begin in the second quarter. Given that the launch schedule of its integrated chipset has fallen behind those of VIA Technologies and Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) by two to three months, ALi decided to aim at the notebook chipset market. The chipset designer said that it has already started helping its OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and ODM (original design manufacturer) clients develop related products. Given its current share in the notebook sector and the long-term cooperation with international heavyweights such as IBM, Toshiba and Acer, ALi suggested that sales of the chipset may even prove to be better than that of ALi’s discrete chipset for desktops. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sembrerebbe quindi che l'intero chipset per la CPU sia di produzione ALI, integrato con la parte grafica non condivisa per 32 Mb realizzata dalla Trident... Se ci fosse qualche proprietario di questo notebook...
