The machine, which we call the Armiga, is a beautiful piece of modern technology. It’s built around a modern Dual Core ARM CPU, that plays together with our custom made floppy controller. This is the key of the machine: We’ve developed our own controller, able of reading Amiga disks, decode them and make them available for executing. Sounds simple, right?. The Armiga aims to emulate both the Amiga 500 with 1MB of RAM and Amiga 1200 with 2MB of RAM as close as possible to the original ones. And for you not to get your hands dirty, fully legal copies of Kickstart 1.3 and 3.1 are provided with every Armiga!




Graphical Menu
Simple and elegant, with usability as main focus. It allows the load of games from self ADF images made from floppies, ADF images from SD Card and USB.




Game Browser
With Armiga you can easily browse and manage your collection of games and add covers to them. You will need only a computer with a SD card reader. It´s as easy as drag and drop. You can also use a USB flash drive and browse your game collection.




Optimized Software and Savestates
The Armiga OS has been optimized for the ARM core, allowing graphics up to 720p and perfect sound capabilities without user intervention. It also allows to save games any point by using the savestate option, including those that don’t allow to save. Fully legal copies of Kickstart 1.3 and 3.1 are provided with every Armiga!





Automatic Updates
To add more features and improvements just plug your Armiga to the Internet or place the update file into the micro SD card.




Virtual Mouse and Keyboard
The Armiga includes one virtual mouse and one virtual keyboard. So with only one pad connected to one USB port, you can handle everything within games. There is no need to connect a physical keyboard or mouse to it.





HDMI Output
Play your Amiga games in all HD glory with the 720p output from the Armiga. Play them fullscreen (16:9) at original 4:3 or a something in between (3:2) and enhance them with scanlines, a CRT effect or plain pixel doubler.

Custom Floppy Controller
Our exclusive floppy disk controller lets you read your own Amiga disks and transform them in an ADF file, as long as they are not copy protected. Just insert your disk and get a digital copy!

microSD Card and USB support
Bring in your games in the supplied 8GB Class10 microSD card or in a pendrive. Just plug it into any USB port and get instant access to them. Also use your PC-standard USB mouse, keyboard and gamepad.

FREE Software upgrades
New features, improved compatibility and bug fixes are delivered for FREE to all our customers by email. Just drag and drop the update and your Armiga will update automatically.

Arrivata, eccezionale direi.. facilità d'uso estrema interfaccia semplicissima e supporto ai joypad (io ho il GXT della Trust).
Non adatto a chi vuole l'emulazione di schede professionali, meglio WinUAE per quello ma per il gaming è eccezionale.
ROM presenti: Kickstart 1.3 e 3.1 basate su licenza ufficiale di Cloanto, emulazione A500 e A1200.

Sono molto curioso, l'emulazione è perfetta anche per la parte audio dei VG, musiche e suoni?

Secondo me si è perfetta, tranne per la parte AGA che ancora necessita di qualche miglioramento ma d'altronde è stata introdotta solo di recente.
Se vai sul sito ufficiale che ho linkato sopra ci sono tutti i video che mi hai chiesto.
Io non ho fatto video dal momento che non ho molto tempo a disposizione.

119€ però sono un po' tanti per una funzionalità che posso avere senza troppo complicazioni attaccando il portatile alla TV tramite HDMI.

Bè diciamo che dipende da quello che cerchi: qui hai un oggetto nuovo e diverso, con un software dedicato ed ottimizzato per la piattaforma che viene costantemente aggiornato e su cui non ti ci devi impazzire troppo nei settaggi per far funzionare gli adf.
Certo, la stessa cosa la puoi fare in altri modi, ti basta anche un raspberry pi 3 per fare lo stesso lavoro a meno però l'oggetto è abbastanza cult, con un case che è una figata, il floppy per farti i tuoi adf e poi magari un giorno chissà per giocare direttamente dai vecchi dischetti (speranza), e poi ripeto ottimizzazioni ed aggiornamenti.
Insomma, si puoi avere le stesse cose in altri modi, oggi ci sono infiniti modi per avere la stessa cosa, ma questo a mio parere è una figata e per questo mi è piaciuta e l'ho presa, pur avendo in casa un raspberry con emulation station.

che sia una figata concordo, semplicemente mi sembra che il prezzo sia un po' alto considerando poi che se sei un appassionato di retrogaming non hai certo problemi con UAE che è ormai semplicissimo da usare. Diciamo che se me lo regalassero sarei molto contento
