[Thread Ufficiale] Democracy 3
![]() Democracy 3 è un gestionale "puro", niente mappe, personaggi, effetti 3d.... Solo icone e statistiche. Fredde e crude simulazioni statistiche unite a calcoli matematici per simulare la casualità del mondo. Prodotto dalla Positech Games, ovvero Cliff Harris "Game Design, Programming and running a one-man games business" già autore di Democracy, Democracy 2, Gratuitous Space Battles, Gratuitous Tank Battles, ecc. Il gioco è DRM FREE, indipendentemente dalla piattaforma di acquisto. E' disponibile per Windows, Linux, Mac. Trailer ufficiale: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjNTeqvd_qk Il gioco mette l'utente al comando di una tra 6 nazioni (AUS, CA, FR, GER, GB, USA). Da quel momento, previa scelta di alcune opzioni (durata mandato, numero massimo di mandati, catastrofi, apatia politica, voto compulsivo, percentuale di liberali e socialisti), si ha il pieno controllo sulle leggi che governano lo stato prescelto. Ogni turno (3 mesi) il gabinetto dei ministri genera un certo numero di punti "Capitale Politico" da spendere per introdurre, rimuovere o anche solo modificare le leggi. Ovviamente aumentare le tasse sulla proprietà richiederà molti più punti che introdurre un sussidio per l'agricoltura. Ad ogni turno, una schermata riepilogativa ci informerà sui nostri progressi e ci proporrà un evento casuale come una notizia, una proposta di legge o una decisione da prendere. Ecco la schermata principale: ![]() Icone: Bianco le leggi Blu le statistiche Rosso le situazioni critiche Verde eventi positivi Al centro le classi sociali: in grigio la percentuale rispetto al totale della popolazione, nelle barre il singolo livello di approvazione verso il governo. Il gioco simula 200.000 elettori, ognuno dei quali può appartenere da 5 a 9 delle 20 categorie:
Basta passarci sopra il mouse per vedere su cosa influiscono e da cosa sono influenzate. Le frecce di collegamento sono di 3 colori: Rosse, Verdi, Nere Nera: al momento non influisce (cambiando qualche valore può diventare rossa o verde) Rossa: fa decrescere l'icona collegata Verde: fa crescere l'icona collegata Nota bene: rosso non vuol dire "male" e verde "bene". Solo "decresce" e "accresce". Esempio: una freccia verde verso il crimine, significa che qualcosa sta aumentando il crimine. (male, a meno che non vogliate il caos... ![]() Di contro una freccia rossa verso la povertà è un bene, significa che diminuisce. SOLUZIONE: ![]() Per risolvere, andate in Documenti, create se non l'avete già la cartella "My Games", create la cartella "democracy3" (si, minuscolo e tutto attaccato), create un nuovo file di testo e rinominatelo in "prefs.ini", apritelo con il notepad o equivalente ed inserite il seguente testo, previa sostituzione di 1600 e 900 con la vostra risoluzione: [prefs] width = 1600 height = 900 windowed = 0 salvate e riavviate il gioco. Nota: a risoluzioni inferiori di 1600 alcuni elementi dell'HUD come il saldo del bilancio non vengono visualizzati. Basata aprire il menù bilancio ed eccoli lì. Informazioni & varie Obiettivo del gioco From Cliff Harris: "It's a game designed to entertain you, and so you can have fun. If all you want to do is be told you have won, then you really need to play games by a different developer. This is a sandbox, a toy, something to entertain, inform and provoke debate. The point of Democracy 3 isn't to reach a high score or 'win' but to experiment and be entertained." In parole povere: la rielezione non è l'unico scopo del gioco. Porsi degli obiettivi e raggiungerli. Es: USA, 2 soli mandati, tutti Liberali, difficoltà 200% -> trasformarli in un paese socialista. Se vi aspettate un popup che vi avvisi che siete in deficit, un popup che vi avvisi che il crimine sale, non fa per voi. Teoricamente potreste volere un Pil in negativo ed un debito pubblico galoppante per intessere un piano di sviluppo che porterà frutti dopo 4 anni.... Niente è in assoluto giusto o sbagliato. Il giocatore è arbitro di decidere. La mancata rielezione o l'omicidio sono gli unici 2 end game possibili. VARIE - Senza "randomized start" attivo, ogni paese inizia sempre alla stessa maniera. - Se si seleziona una legge dal menù nuova legge, si ha una sommaria informativa su turni necessari per implementarla, punti capitale politico necessari, costi, eventuali ricavi. Una volta implementata, potete solo decidere quanto spendere, non potete eliminarla fino al turno successivo e questo costa punti. A volte capita che uno la implementa magari per vedere meglio i dettagli e si trova con una nuova legge attiva. - Al momento la popolazione non "cresce". Non si sa se sarà implementato o no. - Riguardo i mod: data la strettissima interdipendenza delle leggi, se il mod X inserisce le leggi A, B, C che influiscono sulle esistenti nel gioco base, se il mod Y introduce F, E, G che logicamente dovrebbero interagire con A, B, C, non succederà a meno che entrambi gli autori non lo impostino. Riguardo la discesa di prezzo, non ci sono buoni auspici all'orizzonte: il gioco è attualmente l'unica (o quasi) fonte di entrate per lo sviluppatore, il quale tra l'altro ha dovuto assumere uno programmatore per il porting su mac e linux. È una società - un uomo solo. Secondo me però avrebbe fatto meglio ad offrire una demo e/o calare il prezzo. Ragionando solo con il prezzo, per 20€ ti becchi uno State of Decay o un Torchlight II o un Prison Architect. Certo, Democracy 3 è molto complesso, purtroppo è meno apprezzabile dalla massa.

I mod è meglio prendere quelli del forum ufficiale. Nessuna donazione richiesta. Che poi come indicato nel primo post sono file di testo o excel quindi manco vanno estratti o ricompilati.... La traduzione potrei farla io stesso tempo permettendo. Più che altro volevo aspettare la prima ondata di patch.

- pare che lo sviluppatore stia facendo la traduzione ufficiale in tedesco. Nessuna info su altre lingue ma fa ben sperare- - ho iniziato la traduzione: richiede di sovrascrivere i file originali. Ho chiesto allo sviluppatore se si può implementare come i normali mod. Attendo risposta.

Patch 1.09 rilasciata.
-Supporto a Steam Workshop (pagina Steam non ancora presente) -Minor fixes. Lo sviluppatore rende noto di un bug che consente pressioni fiscali superiori al 100%. Workaround: giocare "onesti" e non tartassare i cittadini. by cliffski on Tue Nov 05, 2013 7:13 pm Currently the games engine does not permit you to have mutually exclusive rules for policies, so there is no way to prevent the player doing this, although I admit, this is an unfortunate failing of the engine designs and is something I'd like to one day find time to address. This would also allow for a lot more flexibility in other policy areas.

Steam workshop attivato! Ben 3 mod e 1 mod di prova dello sviluppatore.
Per la prossima patch: "version 1.10 is likely to be heavily focused on balancing and tweaking stuff"
