Non mi masterizza!!!

Ciao a tutti,
ho un problema con il mio materizzatore. Comprato 6 mesi fa, ho masterizzato pochi DVD (quasi sempre DVD-R) ma molti CD. Ora quando inserisco un DVD-R vergine mi dice che la periferica è vuota. Il resto funziona tuttto in fase di lettura CD e di DVD e masterizza tranquillamente i CD.
cOME MAI?
come posso capire se il problema è meccanico o software?

a volte dopo aver inserito più volte il DVD-R vergine (una ventina di tentativi) riesce a leggerlo e a masterizzarlo!!!!

Ho provato diverse marche di DVD vergini.... quello che ho scoperto?
Non mi riconosce più i DVD-R mentre sembra tutto ok per i DVD+R....

Prova ad aggiornare o cambiare il software di masterizzazione

Purtroppo quando il mio masterizzatore riesce a riconoscere un DVD-R vergine e vado a masterizzare con Nero dopo 2-3 minuti la scrittura fallisce.
Questo è il file log generato da nero.
Chi ci capisce qualcosa?

Ho disinstallato/reinstallato il controller IDE. Ora il DMA è tornato su ON ma ha fallito ancora la scrittura del DVD (masterizzo file mpeg >2GB).

prova a scrivere a 4X e usa dvd di qualità
